XIV. Final check
A. Turn system to heat and fan switch on AUTO
1. Dial 5 degrees Farenheight above room temp; burner should come on
2. Turn system 5 degrees below room temp burner should turn off
3. Turn system to cool and fan to AUTO
B. Turn system to cool and fan to AUTO
1. Dial 5 degrees farenheight below room temp system would come on immediately
2. Dial 5 degrees farenhieght above room temp the system should turn off in 15 seconds

XV. Adjusting the stat
A. Set temp at lowest setting in heat and wait 10 minutes
B. Remove stat cover and move selector to high temp until switch makes contact
C. If pointer and setting are close to switch contact no calibration is needed
D. To calibrate; if needed:
1. Switch to heat above room temp
2. Insert an Allen wrench top center of main bimetal and hold hex nut under coil
3. Hold setting lever still turn the Allen wrench CLOCKWISE until contact is broke
4. Select temp setting wait 5 minutes
5. Slowly move setting until scale reads same as the thermometer
6. Do step 3 but clockwise
