Parapsychology can be defined as the branch of psychology that deals with behavior which cannot now be explained or described in terms of known physical principles. It, just like any other branch of science, has smaller divisions, extrasensory perception and psychokinesis. Extrasensory perception, more commonly referred to as ESP, is the knowledge of or responds to an external event or influence not apprehended through known sensory channels. Psychokinesis, on the other hand, is the ability of a person to influence a physical system without physical interaction. This is usually the case even if the person is injured because they want to continue playing the sport. What those persons don't understand is that although they are able to continue to play now, the injury could have a lasting effect if it doesn't have time to heal. Head on collisions, such as that received in playing football, is one of the most common injury. If a player just says they are fine when their not, this could lead to long-lasting neurological damages. Imagine if a trainer or team doctor was able to know that the player is not being forthcoming with their injuries.
