To be able to describe any one person it would probably be helpful to have met them. Being able to put features and traits to a face seems to makes it easier to create an idea of who someone is. Summing someone up in a matter of words, well that is basically impossible, but I can try to describe a little bit about myself that will give a general idea of who I am! I guess I will start with the basic stuff. I am twenty-four-years-old, married and a mother of two. I have a great, close relationship with my siblings and my parents, along with extended family. Family is what is most important to me in this world. I am a very dedicated mom and enjoy every second with my babies. I have many goals and dreams and try working towards them as much as …show more content…
I started perusing my goal of working in the healthcare field right after high school. I took a few years of college at CWI and then decided I had an interest in the beauty industry. After two years of cosmetology school, I became a licensed cosmetologist the beginning of 2013. For a while I focused on that and worked here and there. I love making people feel good about themselves. I truly believe it is a great skill, one that my family makes sure to take advantage of! I had been debating it for about a year, but I finally decided that I wanted to finish my degree and go back to CWI, where I plan to make that happen. I think it is a great school and gives me the flexibility I need to be able to take classes from home. I think everything is very well structured and I actually really enjoy my classes. I like having something to work towards and I know finishing my degree here will open more doors for …show more content…
They keep you motivated and helps you find out and become what you want to be. I have many goals. Some short term goals I have are to finish this semester at CWI and with good grades. To keep myself motivated, finish my work on time, keep an organized home, manage my time better, become healthier, and to get in a better daily routine. Some long term goals I have are to finish my degree at CWI, start school at BSU, become financially stable, buy a home, graduate school and be able to start my career. It will be important that I have good skills that will contribute to my success as a student. I really have been trying to apply my skills and build on them, as I just start back to school. I am motivated and have a desire to do well and stay focused. I am working on not procrastinating and finding a way to make time for everything I have going on in my daily life. I enjoy reading and enjoy learning new things along with getting to see what I am capable of. I am hardworking and honest and I always try my best. I think that the skills I do have will help me and I know that I want to build on them and gain new ones as

Narrative

...Chapter 1 Introduction Education is “an act of taking someone out of ignorance by means of teaching”, as defined by the World Book Encyclopedia. It is considered as social institution. It includes not only the effects of schooling, but also the more pervasive effects of child rearing practices gained from family training, social exposure and other means of media that a learner experienced and accumulated as part of his maturity. It is one of the purposes of education to prepare the youth for their future places in the society and prepare them to combat the real world. Schooling is only part of education. It is the place where a person gains proper training that his family cannot provide. Thus, in a school setting, education will not be considered a full one if there is no teacher. To teach is to make an assumption about what and how the students learn. Here in the Philippines, teachers are important factor in molding the society because of their tasks in guiding the learners out in the world of ignorance. Being a teacher demands basic competencies necessary in carrying out effectively his noble mission of promoting progressive human development and study social amelioration which involves hardwork, limitless dedication, and all around knowledge and skills. ...http://www.saylor.org/books Saylor.org 1 Preface Competing books are focused on the academic part of HRM, which is necessary in a university or college setting. However, the goal with this book is not only to provide the necessary academic background information but also to present the material with a practitioner’s focus on both large and small businesses. While the writing style is clear and focused, we don’t feel jargon and ten-dollar words are necessary to making a good textbook. Clear and concise language makes the book interesting and understandable (not to mention more fun to read) to the future HRM professional and manager alike. It is highly likely that anyone in business will have to take on an HRM role at some point in their careers. For example, should you decide to start your own business, many of the topics discussed will apply to your business. This is the goal of this book; it is useful enough for the HRM professional, but the information presented is also applicable to managers, supervisors, and entrepreneurs. Besides these differences, other key differences include the following:   This book utilizes a technology focus and shows how HRM activities can be leveraged using technology. We have also included a chapter on communication and information about motivational theories. Since communication is a key component of HRM, it makes sense to include it as a full chapter in this book. Human motivation is one of the cornerstones of HR, which is why we include information...
