“Creativity without strategy is art, creativity with strategy is called advertising.” Jef Richards. People pay good money for a good advertisement. One that promotes the product effectively, while also connecting to people through some way. In this class we have talked about a couple techniques that companies use to make their product stand out from the rest. Advertising is everything. It's the first thing people see, its the way that they hear about the company, and it's the thing that helps make the buyers choice easier or harder to make between two similar objects. Successful companies now how to reach everyone by using the right words, and by trying to appeal to everyone. As the one of the worlds biggest fast food branches McDonalds is easily recognizable in any country. How does a franchise get to be so big, and be so popular with such a large amount of different people. Simply, they have something for everyone; ice cream, hamburgers, french fries, chicken sandwiches, fish, coffee, breakfast food. All these things appeal to at least one person,except for maybe the fitness nuts, but even now the infamous McNuggets are all one-hundred percent real white meat. McDonalds continues to reach out to the unreachable, while still carrying the fast food restaurant name. They use commercials, constantly changing the technique from evidence of …show more content…
The word premium has nothing to do with the taste of the food, however it has everything to do with the construction of it. Companies also use words to connect to the taste center of your brain, so much to the point that you think that the hamburger is juicy just because the commercial said it was. Its ingrained into out brains from the time we turn on the TV or our smart phones; “KFC Finger Lickin' Good,” or “Subway Eat Fresh.” these are just a couple of examples of the words chosen to make us want to eat more not non-nutritional
