1. Executive Summary
My Business will be an online retailer called Pet Attire where I will be selling a range of cat and dog accessories. The date set for it to be launched is 7th of December just in time for Christmas. For the time being, these products will only be available for customers living in the UK and Republic of Ireland. I will be setting up an office in the comfort of my own home, as I have a sufficient amount of space for it. I am targeting people who are owners of these pets or people who work with them. There is a place in the market for my kind of website as it will only sell accessories for these pets. It will also have themed accessories which will include outfits, special collars and sometimes treats for cats and dogs. These themes will include Christmas, Easter, Halloween and fancy dress. As a bonus, my website will also have a calendar with different events that pet owners can attend with their pets. …show more content…
I want to create an attractive and friendly website that customers will return to again and again. Additionally, all my products are designed to give cats and small dogs the ultimate comfort.

As a pet owner myself, I realize how important it is to purchase accessories that are comfortable as well as durable. Pricing is another issue I have come across whilst trying to shop online. The only shops that stock suitable products for my pet, is usually too expensive. This is why I have come up with this idea to create my own unique online shop.
I currently have £2,000 in my own savings and I am looking for a further £5,000 in order to start up my business. In starting my business I will have to buy my domain name, have a suitable web design, and buy goods to sell on my website and office stationery.

...Eglitis, 2016, p 332) Social norms can vary from written law to cultural understanding of acceptable behaviors. Everything that we do is governed by a social norm in some way. Take for example greeting someone when you are being introduced for the first time. There is no law stating that you must make eye contact and shake their hand. If you decided not to, it would be considered rude. It is also a social norm in our culture to stand in line in public places rather than expecting immediate service. When I was considering where to conduct my observation, I wanted to choose a location where there would be multiple norms to observe and then later violate. I decided on a local café and deli in the business distract of downtown Cincinnati. Since the observation was taking place in the business district, I decided that lunch time would be the best time to do it. I started at 12 o’clock Thursday. The café is located on the ground level of apartment building that was built in the late 1800’s. The entire front side of the store is floor to celling glass, letting in a ton of natural light. There is only one entrance and one exit. Once inside to the right of the entrance is the deli, where all food orders are placed. On the opposite side is the café, which is just a sitting area and soda machines. I took a seat in the café area that allowed me to see the rest of the store. The first thing I noticed was the difference in the demographics of the employees and the customers that they served...

...Profession teachers focus on promoting learning, not only through academics but also as far as self-control, demonstrating responsibility, and the ability to relate effectively with others. In order for students to learn and practice this, their teachers have to lead by example in order to show them what to do. First a teacher must look the part. This means come to school in business attire. However the teacher must make sure they are comfortable. When I was in grammar school, I had a teacher that used to be in business attire from head to ankle. By this I mean she wore a full suit or some form of business wear however she would wear house shoes because the choice of shoes she decided to wear. I believe that as a grown woman she should’ve known better than that. She knew the field she worked in required her to stand on her feet for hours so she should’ve dressed accordingly. Another form of professionalism in the class from is maintaining self-control. Students are developing mentally and physically. Mentally, they want to test their authority figures and that’s what they do. As a teacher, as well as an adult one has to know how to have control and handle situations properly, that means if a student is mouthing off , do not cuss at them or stoop to their level. Another example of professional is demonstrating responsibility. Teachers also have deadlines and dates they have to comply with. Professional Development: Google

...Just as Pace (2006) says “There is a new era in business and companies have move up to a global platforms, communication between employee have moved from the phone and face to face meetings to primarily communicating through email. Not too long ago all men wore suits and ties to work and women did not hold prominent positions in the workplace. All this has changed in the recent years. More companies are now adopting a casual work environment with less dress code restrictions and a better work/life balance. But there are still companies out there who still hold on to the traditional values of business and it’s protocols. In the next paragraphs I hope to outline the protocols and culture of Google and how it came to be, as well as compare and contrast it a more traditional company, Goldman Sach. I will also outline Google’s failed experience in China how the Google culture influenced that. Google’s Founders: Montessori Reason for It’s Culture “You can’t understand Google unless you know Larry Page and Sergey Brin were Montessori kids,” Levey (2011). Montessori schools are schools based on the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori, an Italian physician who believed children should be allowed the freedom to pursue whatever interest them. Knowing this you can really understand the culture of Google why their business protocols are unique to traditional businesses. Like so many other technology start-ups Google was founded in the mid-90’s by a pair of college buddies, Page...

Christian Dress and Adornment

...CHRISTIAN DRESS AND ADORNMENT Chapter 7 PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN DRESS Samuele Bacchiocchi, Ph. D., Andrews University In every age men and women have bedecked and bejeweled their bodies. The desire to adorn the body with colorful cosmetics, costly jewelry, and eye-catching clothes has left few untouched. Thus, it is not surprising that our survey found, throughout Biblical and Christian history, frequent calls to dress modestly and decently, without glittering jewelry or luxurious clothes. Such a call is especially relevant today when modesty and decency are out, and nudity and sensuality are in. To bring into sharper focus the relevance of the Biblical teachings on dress and ornaments for our time, I shall endeavor to formulate seven basic statements of principle which summarize the highlights of this study. This brief review will help the reader to gain a better overview of the fundamental Biblical teachings on dress and adornment that have emerged in the course of our investigation. PRINCIPLE ONE: Dress and appearance are an important index of Christian character. Clothes and appearance are most powerful nonverbal communicators not only of our socioeconomic status, but also of our moral values. We are what we wear. This means that the outward appearance is an important index of Christian character. The Bible recognizes the importance of dress and ornaments as indicated by the numerous stories, allegories, and admonitions that we have found regarding appropriate...
