For better comprehension of the topic under discussion, there is a great need to explain what sensory means and what perceptions it has over human life. Sensory comes from a Latin word ‘sentire’ meaning ‘to perceive, feeling.’ This also describes something related to sensation – something that you feel with your physical senses. The physical senses that enable man to perceive things, feel things etc. These sense that enable human being to perceive and feel thing include the eyes, the nose, the tongue, the ears and the body sensation. For example the eyes is used for sight, the nose for smelling things and the ears for sounds. All these sense enriched the brain and link the brain as we think.
The three factors that may ensure the accuracy or inaccuracy of sensory information would be limited biologically, we see the superficial; (using the sight for example) can deceive our brain as have been mentioned above limited biologically. Same o the sight example, it would be stated that our sensory of information would be accurate or inaccurate due to corralled by custom, we see the habitual; and lastly blinded by language, we see the general. In further explanation to the mentioned factors, it happens that our sight can deceive us by mere recognition of the appearance of a substance which in reality does not have the real qualities seen in our sight. For instance, the sight used in seeing objects and telling of the nature can observe a nice or decorated cake to be delicious but the taste senses which the tongue can refute that assertion when tasted that cake. All these actions by the senses translate the communication into the brain which make the final judgment and actions and perceive which information is accurate and which is inaccurate. Additionally, customs the form of habits, interest, and biases, focuses thus limit our perceptions. For example, an interior decorator, walking into a room, sees that room different from a carpenter, an antique collector, a gymnast, or a party animal.
Additionally, language (which implies means of communicating with one another) can have a great impact on the sensory information which can also be accurate or inaccurate information. Thus the sounds made in speaking (language) which when not well articulated by the ear which further translate the sounds of the language to the brain for final interpretation can result in sending either accurate or inaccurate sensory information. For example people with ear defects finds it difficult I comprehending the sounds make from language and therefore send inaccurate sensory information to the brain and as such the brain interprets what it is feed by the sound made. This also suggests that, when sounds are not correctly made through language they may have inaccuracies of sensory information that can deceive brain where our thinking comes from. On the contrary, when the sounds relate the exact language to the brain, then sensory information becomes accurate. Beside these factors, it would also be stated that the inaccuracy and accuracy of sensory information may also be attributed to other factors such as the malfunction of the senses (it could be any or more), old age, sickness, and defects. For example people with Parkinson (brain disease) suffer proper thinking and therefore does not reason well or sense things the right manner as normal human beings.
The factors that contribute to the accuracy of sensory data are sharpening our perceptions, sharpening our senses, and powerful listening. Sharpening our perceptions is very crucial for delivering better data to our brains. Thus human beings need the accurate observations. This also demands us as humans the right facts, solid sensory awareness to ground our thinking and also need to perceive beyond appearances and behind false faces. This also implies that with accurate sensing data, we need to examine how our senses both enlighten and deceive our brain (mind). Furthermore, we need to sharpen our vital sensing-thinking connection, and more especially stress how we can strengthen our two most important senses for thinking; seeing and hearing. Additionally, sharpening the senses make us have accurate sensory data. This also means when we realize that our senses are fallible, and then we can begin to adjust to surface appearance and personal distortions. Seeing does not always believe. Seeing can deceive us. Thus in order for accurate sensory data, using the eyes for example can be supported with electronic aids like the electronic microscope. This allows us to perceive things beyond human natural eyes that may be fallible due to a defect.
Again, hearing or listening which stems from the ear sensory can be accurate in sensing data if it is effectively put in action. Thus hearing may be our most vital sense.
Our memory serves as the recall machinery which encodes and decodes information stored in the brain that are fixed in the brain by the senses. Memory therefore means the power and process of what have been learned and retained especially through associate mechanism. For example, when we recall exactly the events of days, then we are said to have good memory. In discussing the role memory with regards to interpretation and evaluation, of the sensory data, it would be stated that, the brain restores all information feed upon it by the senses and the ability to recall all information in the brain determines the state of our memory. Memory therefore plays the role as releasing of information from the brain (storage room), make us think logically; make us total beings (that is make us rational human beings). This implies that by having good memory, we are able to recall all information the senses feed the brain and also function well in all facet of life. For example, if there is a defect on the brain, our memory may be also weakened. For example people with old age have weak memory retention due to weakness and inactiveness or probably a defect or illness. Additionally, our memory in some extent dictates to us certain occupations that we pursue. For example people with sharp memory normally take science

Courses or an academic course that demands thinking and great deal of recalling of events learned easily. This suggests that our memory plays a vital role in thinking and decision making as well planning all activities.
In a nut shell, it would be stated that the human senses plays a paramount role in sensing the true nature of things as they are originally made and supports or feed the brain in its functioning of thinking and initiation of actions in bot accurate and the opposite.

...Discussion Week 11 #1 I found the Nature vs. Nurture topic interesting because I don’t believe the environment makes the person. We are all responsible for the choices we make. We can rise above our environment. In the case of the pedophile it can be nature or nurture. Some people are either not strong enough to rise above their environment or do not wish. I believe in the accuracy of some sensory information such as the sensory of touch, which helps me decipher the difference between something that is either too hot or too cold. My sensory of touch signals to me that “fire” is hot. My sensory of sight indicates to me when I visually see “fire” that it is hot. When I see smoke, my thinking pattern indicates to me that something is either on fire or burning which probably could indicate a fire. My sense of smell considering what is burning could alert me that there was a fire in progress.
