A victim is someone who is harmed by another and a villain is someone who did something wrong and someone whose actions harmed another. Philip Molloy, The main character from the Edward Irving Wortis documentary novel, “Nothing But The Truth”, decides to not tell the whole truth and led to ruining both his teachers career and his dream to become an olympic track star. Philip Molloy decides to not tell the whole truth and ruins a teachers career. He lied to the news and said he got suspended for singing the national anthem. He said he was singing patriotically, but really he was humming disrespectfully. For instance, in Edward Irving Wortis documentary novel, “Nothing But The Truth”, it says “ well i like to, you know, sing along. But,see, she kicked me out. For singing it”. Also he said “they suspended me”. Philip Molloy did not tell the whole truth. He lied to the news reporter about what happened and then the interview was published in an article.
