Contrary to popular beliefs, being active in the gaming world, with moderation, can enhance behavioral skills. Throughout the years there have been numerous studies to try to prove that gaming was either beneficial or harmful to children and later to adults. There are skills that can be advanced with the right exposure and restraint to video games. There are some risks involved with lifelong gaming. As adults there are long term damages and ill-effects that can occur. One of the major points in this argument of whether video gaming is favorable is the exposure to violence. Research has shown that children who participate in playing video games have to undertake unique activities.
