Question 2 * What are some sources of risk in a systems analysis and design project, and how does a project manager cope with risk during the stages of project management? * There are a lot of risks involved in a system analysis and design project, and few of them are critical resource availability, the potential of new technology and not being able to fully utilize it, user resistance to change, regulatory constraints.
Project Manager deals with all those risks by staying on top of him communication with the rest of team and making sure all risks and potential failures are well addressed and the way of solving those risks should be prepared and tested. In Project Stage, Project manager needs to have his communication skill at its highest because there might be a lot of questions and concerns coming from a team that will work on that project. In Design Stage, project manager needs to realize what risks of the project are and it should be addressed so there is a way of getting them out of the way when they happen. In Development and Implantation Stage, project manager needs to continue to review risk assessment and work on improving it constantly and see even more risks that might occur that were not discussed or discovered yet.
Question 4 * Suppose that you have been contracted by a jewelry store to manage a project to create a new inventory tracking system. Describe your initial approach to the project.
