Party Plates Proposal on Wireless Technologies
Wireless technologies are a great way to implement growth and organization for Party Plates. Two recommended wireless technologies are cell phones and laptops. In this day in age, cell phones have remarkable functions and capabilities and have the ability to hold as much storage as a PC. Furthermore, cell phones will allow our employees to stay connected, have access to email, customer information, and orders while out in the field. On the other hand, with the use of wireless laptops, Party Plates can work anywhere when a cell phone does not have any service. With the use of a laptop, information can be easily stored and displayed to the corporation’s employees in order to add and make changes. This allows Party Plates employees to organize and manage files without having to waste time in sorting through files that are stored in cabinets.
One phone in particular that is great for business is the iPhone 5. While this phone is one of the most expensive on the market, it will be well worth it. The iPhone 5 serves as a phone, camera, video camera, GPS, iPod, and web browser. In addition, the number of applications that can be downloaded on this device is limitless. The iPhone 5 has presentation and spreadsheet capabilities. Letters, flyers, and cards can also be created on the iPhone 5.
Ultrabook is a type of laptop that is the latest in technology and great for business. While it can be great to carry around because of its light weight, it is also capable of running for 10 hours on charge, which is great for part and full-time business workers at Party Plates. The SSD drive runs much faster and allows quick access to programs and information. In addition, manageability of applications with the latest processor that was built for business can help get the

Heath-Cott-Lynn Report

...Date: 2/18/2014 To: Heathcot-Lynn Foundation Board of Directors Subject: Overall Review and Funding Decisions of Proposals The Heathcot-Lynn Foundation has been an innovator in the health and safety sector for many years. Due to the popularity of this foundation the amount of proposals received is astronomical. In a perfect scenario, funding could be given to every proposal, seeing as how perfect scenarios are almost impossible to come by some tough decisions need to be made. My team and I have given much thought to the $3000 we can allocate across the four different proposals. Procedures The most important part for every member on our team to understand is what a good proposal looks like, and what it takes for an idea to be funded. After our team understood that idea they were able to analyze each proposal individually, so individual opinions could be formed to enable constructive input in the larger group meeting. Keeping in mind the evaluation criteria Heathcot-Lynn provided us; need for project, goal, project approach, cost, and impact our team got down to work collaboratively. Findings The first proposal submitted by the Skyline Coalition comes to us with not just one issue, but two. Right away it is clear to understand the need for, and goals of this project. The first problem arises when looking at the project approach criteria. The proposal doesn’t say how they plan on sustaining the prescription distribution beyond the three month time frame funding would...

...Proposal Argument Workshop: (R) 11/21 & (T) 11/26 Due: (T) 12/3 A proposal argument is one that pinpoints a particular problem and poses a solution to it. All proposals will call for action, focus on the future, and center on audience. The ultimate objective is to get something done. To achieve this, the solution should be attainable and well-conceived; furthermore, proposals should provide enough evidence to convince readers that the solution will actually produce the effects it sets out to achieve. A proposal should always seek to put forth the best possible solution to a problem. For this paper, you should pick some contemporary issue that interests you (for example, gay marriage), consider your own position on this issue (gay marriage is a good thing), pinpoint a major problem associated with the issue (should gay marriage be legalized?), and finally pose a viable solution to this problem (Yes, because…etc). In this paper, you should try extremely hard to emphasize your ethos. Why should we trust you and, by extension, the solution you propose? In addition, you should certainly strive to provide logical, well-researched EVIDENCE that will support your claim (logos). You must first acquaint us with the issue/problem and then explain why your solution is the best possible response to this problem. The majority of your paper should focus on the SOLUTION you are proposing and your proof that this solution will work. Requirements: Ø 5 to 6 pages in...

Project Management

...The Role of Concept Paper in Project Management 1.0 Introduction A concept note is a summary of a proposal containing a brief description of the idea of the project and the objectives to be pursued. In some financing programs, funding agencies require a concept note before the submission of a full proposal, in order to decide whether the proposed project is in line with the priorities of the program and to eliminate proposals that are not likely to be funded. Concept notes are also submitted to donors without a formal call for proposals, who prefer to understand a project through a brief summary rather than a full-fledged proposal document. This factsheet contains a set of guidelines on how to write a concept note, offering also a template to help you drafting an eye catching document to ensure the success of your project. Many private foundations have always required a concept paper be submitted for review prior to the submission of a full proposal. In recent years government and state agencies have begun to encourage the use of concept papers as a way for applicants to obtain informal feedback on their ideas and projects prior to preparing a proposal. Some of these agencies now require a concept paper be submitted as part of the formal submission process. The purpose of a concept paper, from the funding agency’s point of view, is to help applicants develop more competitive proposals and to save time by eliminating proposals that are not likely to be funded. The applicant’s...

Formal Research and Business Proposals

...Proposals and Research Nashira Wiggins American Intercontinental University Abstract What are the differences between formal research and a business proposal? What are the similarities? This paper will compare and contrast the theoretical and practical differences between formal research and a business proposal. The second part of this paper will explore the effects of human resources outsourcing on leadership performance and employee commitment. This paper will show that human resources outsourcing has a negative effect on employees and their morale. Part 1 Formal research provides basic information and statistics in a given field or industry depending on the focus of the research. Formal research may be used to research the demand for a specific product or service by researching similar products or services that are already on the market. Included in this research would be the general sales rate, the companies that market these products or services, and the current sale price. Research will reveal whether the market for the product is flooded or if it is indeed a good business opportunity. A business proposal is a document that proposes a method for completing a task. A business proposal can be used for launching a new product or for something like implementing a new strategy for a marketing campaign. “A proposal includes a brief description for the task at hand, a section describing the general approach to the task, a schedule for the task in question and a budget...
