Pseudomonas Aeruginos is an infection that is caused by strains of infectious bacteria from exposures to the environment, such as animals, soil, and even the water we drink can lead to this infection. The full scientific name of this bacteria is Pseudomonas Aeruginos, it is also a member of the Gamma Proteobacteria class of bacteria. It is a gram negative aerobic rod under the bacterial family pseudmonadacacea. Its kingdom classification is bacteria, its’s phylum classification is proteobacteria and its class is Gamma Proteobacteria (Todar, 1).

Thousands of people are in and out the hospital in a few hours or days on average, so the fact that for every one thousand people in the hospital whom had been discharged, four of them are infected with the pseudomonas infection. Those four people can easily infect hundreds of others by just touching people or touching public objects that others touch and those people touch their mouths and they have the infection also. This number is alarming and there needs to be more awareness and cleanliness procedures made for workers and patients so that this infection can somewhat stay contained.
The solution for avoiding the contact with this bacterium is to wash your hands frequently in places like hospitals where germs spread very quickly. Washing your hands ensure that the patient or worker in the room will probably not get the bacterium inside of them as long as they keep clean and decontaminate themselves.
