I was really impressed by the value chain of Pueri Elemental. There are two important competitive advantages of the company: people and outsourcing. The CEO, CTO, and Lead Advisor have remarkable careers, and in fact, they are overqualified people. It allows them to fulfill high quality management in its entire business process and to be able to directly approach to extremely valuable networking, such as Hasbro or Mattel. Pueri outsources most of its production process to two companies. However, they have all the value added parts, such as design, marketing, or technology. The in/outbound logistics and operations of its product, a bop bag, would not be needed any significant knowhow or technology, and co-founders could minimize their initial investment. The supply chain of Pueri Elemental is also simple but very efficient. Pueri purchases the vinyl from a company in Long Island, and it is welded in Rock Hill (SC) and cut, printed, sewn and fulfilled by JayMac in Florence (SC).
