If a child under thirteen reads the manga (anime books) and some one is reading it with them, then that adult supervision can protect them from bad influences that might see. An adult needs to be with the child while watching the anime series or reading the book. Without parental viewing then the child will not know that the violence in the anime, or manga books should not be imitated in the real world. In fact a child died while mimicking Gaara.
