Pure or Passionate: An Analytical Juxtaposition of White and Red
What are colors? Why do we see them? How is it possible for our brain to make a connection with colors by having emotions? Color is part of the visible light spectrum and the reason colors appear is due to the pigment that is not absorbed by an object. The description of the reflection allows the eye to see the color and have the brain cells interpret the meaning behind that specific color. The effect of seeing and interpreting colors allows the human brain to cause an emotional response. Knowing that color is the base of how the human race judges and determines what to do next will help humans survive. A great example is when a tomato is bright red, our brain classifies it as ripe and ready for picking. But when the vegetable is green your brain convinces itself that the veggie is not ripe for picking to consume. When a teacher tells his/hers students to write an essay they are given a blank word document. The white page represents the new beginning of the student’s thoughts. Other times a blank page is represented as a thought that has yet to be composed, waiting for a start. Colors have various meanings in different cultures around the world. The most common representation of Red is evil or a sin. While White is commonly recognized as goodness and purity. Learning how dissidences of colors affect one’s emotion can help you show how you feel toward a loved one or help identify the meanings of color correctly.
White: pure, new, seraphic, goodness, virginity, and respect...every word describes how White is no longer considered boring or plain. To start off, White has always been the symbol of the purest individuals, God and Jesus; they always are portrayed wearing White clothing showing their symbol of White. White is also used for burying the deceased with to show respect for their life. The deceased are covered in White to worn away any forms of bad spirits from evil. During the laying of the flowers at a funeral White roses are presented as a symbol of loyalty to the loved one. In another country White is worn for showing levels of power. A South African king wears White and black feathers to show he has goodness with the fear of evil (black). Moving into the medical field of reference. The doctor’s point of view for White is symbolized by the various medical terms used by the body; breast milk or seman. Both of which are perfect examples that stand for the purity and beauty of life.
Red has various forms in nature and dangerous situations. Red is on the warm side of the color spectrum. Warmth comes from a fire and a fire comes from aggression. Aggression leads to dangerous situation that will eventually lead to the ER or hospital. When a doctor sees the color Red he or she immediately thinks of danger or blood. In a native Slavic’s vision the Red means beautiful or living. Out in the city a lady wearing a Red dress or shirt is easily spotted out of the crowd where she looks passionate and maybe a little sexy. Now with a gentleman in the city wearing a Red dress shirt in a large crowd an observer would view him as an aggressive and selfish man. Red clothing is always linked to aggressiveness and appeal. Consider a veteran, he/she has been through war, the most unfortunate observation, and witnessed their best friends murdered by the enemy. Red is the color of blood and during war all that is viewed by soldiers is blood. The sight of Red reminds the soldier of his/her past and unfortunate experience. Veterans would rather be surrounded by White to help ease their horrific memories dissipate out of their mind. Red is represented in both positive and negative ways that affect every variation of living organisms.
White allows the human mind to think what more could be done to improve a certain expectation. When looking at color spectrums, all visible light is being absorbed to from White. Using a prism a scientist can shine White through one side and coming out of the other side will be the visible light spectrum. Using the winter season to help show how White can create to happiness; snow falling from the sky excites children to motivate them to exercise, building snowman and angels. Going from happiness to misery the most unfortunate way White can be represented is the end of a life. When one passes away it is said they will see the white light. The white light, representing the end, leads the soul to heaven for the transform into a happy and healthy angel, which is the purest form of a being.
The definition of Red has been altered by the church to represent more of a bad reputation. A passionate religious individual connects evil, the devil, and iniquity to Red. Although on Valentines day Red roses are most symbolic for love and romance. Yet again Red is expressed as a positive reaction to life and love. When a people become embarrassed or bashful their cheeks turn Red to show they have feelings. Red shows how emotions can be identifiable during a conversation with someone you may care about. Knowing how the other person feels during a conversing can help the listener comfort the speaker and allow them to no longer be embarrassed. Even though Red is a short adjective it expresses many definitions and ways one could interpret the reasoning behind the color.
The world is covered in beautiful shades of Red and White. In New Zealand’s desert, the Maori, hundreds of Red shades that cover the sandy ground. In the Arctic the Inuit people, they are believed to have seven different shades of White in their color dictionary. The Badlands have different shades of Red dirt that help scientists determine the age of the soil. The soil also creates a beautiful scene for tourists to visit. Other sights of Red and White can be noticed in all types of animals. A male Red Munia is covered in Red with White speckles. His vibrant Red and spotted feather coat attracts a female Munia to have as a life-long mate.
Red and White how could they possibly relate to each other? One can say they are compared to each other by the obvious fact that they are colors but in fact many more specifics are involved to show how they can be related to one another. Red expresses life and beauty just as White is shown as pure and goodness. Life can be pure, a mother giving birth to a new child. Showing goodness allows your beauty to shine and help you become a wonderful person in life. The beauty is the respect that comes from the passion of caring for a dream to comes true and to pursue that dream past the goal. When combining Red and White they will create the pigment pink: empathy, insightfulness, and sensitivity. Pink is defined as pure passion that of which explains why women are always relatively passionate to find the perfect man. The pink rose from Valentines day expresses sympathy, gratitude, and happiness. To a loved one this is the perfect flower to receive. Red and White help a person when determining his/her presage. White and Red go hand in hand for outline of life. They colors are the two ways and symbols a human, male or female, uses when growing up to find “the one”. Red and White are the colors that express how one can really feel about the other by using flowers, clothing, and showing emotion.
When science comes into view Red and White are represented as blood cells. Red blood cells come from bone marrow and help oxygen travel through the body. White blood cells help fight off disease and other harmful substances in the blood. The Red blood cells are the representations of life, without oxygen beings on earth would not survive. Blood is filled with forty-five percent Red blood cells and four percent White blood cells. The major elements for life are the White blood cells, they protect the body from catastrophic diseases. Yet there is a few percent of those purifying cells in the body. While the Red blood cells, making up more of the blood system, are flowing with oxygen they are also allowing the proteins they are made of to give them their Red pigment. With the Red and White blood cells working together our life system of living will not function properly. Learning how dissidence of colors affect one’s emotion can help you show how you feel toward a loved one or help identify the meanings of color. Color is how the brain comprehends the shimmering of molecules that surround us when they are reflecting off waves of light that are not being absorbed. Red and White are two of the most confusing colors to define when looking at them relatively close. But when compared they show a complex way of passion turning into one of the purest forms of love. Love is the way life is formed and how life can be changed by the emotions coming from color. Color is one of the most confusing topics to talk about scientifically. Our emotions, actions, and lifestyle all evolve from colors that surrounds us. Red will help life become a more passionate game of chance to find the perfect companion. White will help the brain realize the world has few pure beings left on earth. Just as blood contains a great percentage of Red blood cells than the important White blood cells. Remembering both colors have different meanings of positive and negative will allow a person to not judge someone as good or bad right away. 19. Learning how to use these colors will also help your promulgate the great advantage of finding the perfect love relationship using Red and White.

...RED, WHITE, BLUE AND YOU Or, The Color of Politics An Essay by Charles Ebeling Presented at the Chicago Literary Club Election Eve, November 5, 2012 Copyright 2012 Charles Ebeling Dedicated to the memory of my good friend and neighbor Marshall J. Goldsmith Who was my guest at the Literary Club, October 24, 2011 Some us recall a great 1986 film called “The Color of Money,” and no, cynics, it wasn’t about politics. That film earned Paul Newman the Oscar for Best Actor as a pool hustler and stakehorse, who enjoyed a glass or two of J.T.S. Brown Kentucky bourbon, my favorite beverage from college days. But, unless I’ve missed a documentary or foreign film along these lines, I haven’t yet seen a dramatization called “The Color of Politics.” Yes, there is such a thing as “The Politics of Color,” but as social commentary, not as a film title. “The Color of Politics” is equally real though, and has a long history. I first dabbled in the palette of politics on election eve, 2008, when I presented before the club on that occasion an essay I’d titled “One Collage Too Many,” painting...

This staffing plan recognizes the significant commitment of human resources necessary to accomplish the job and its requirements. It also recognizes that the Red, White and Blue Fireworks Company (RWBFC) must continue to provide a high level of service and maintain the same level of productivity while this project is underway. The Red, White and Blue Fireworks Company’s staffing strategy is to minimize labor costs by staffing only what is needed for current production due to its inability to expand at the current facility. Staffing levels are rebuilt or contracted as determined by production schedules and as reflected by staffing requirements and constraints. To minimize the potential for over or under staffing, hiring should be based on a review of RWBFC’s production schedule and a review of at least 2 to 3 months forecasting. Toby Keith

...Patriotism and Toby Keith Ever since 2001, America has gone though many different moods. The mood of the society is often portrayed through music. It is hard to believe that music can have such a large impact on society, but I think society has impacted music. Tragedies and victories throughout history have impacted musical artists and how they express themselves. This is because artists use their voice to express their feelings. People most often accept the music because they feel the same way but do not know how to express their true emotions. Music provides a distraction from these feelings if the artists can capture the current feeling of society into a song. The few artists who are able to do this are among the most popular in history. One artist that represents the emotion of America after the tragedy of the suicidal bombing of the twin towers on September 11, 2001 is country singer Toby Keith. On September 11, 2001, the unexpected occurred when the two world trade centers, now American symbols of hope, faith, and commitment, were destroyed by terrorist bombs. Commitment to your country. Commitment to patriotism. As history is bound to repeat itself, it was time for a new musical artist to capture the hearts of the American people and provide a distraction from reality and a sense of hope for society to believe in. One of the few artists that emerged from the rebel of war was Toby Keith. Although communication researchers predicted that hit songs immediately following...

It can sell unsold inventory at the end of the season in a secondary market for $50 each. The existing contract specifies that once Company A places the order, no changes are allowed to it. To What Extent Was the Red Victory in the Civil War Due to the Skill and Leadership of Trotsky?

...To What Extent Was the Red Victory in the Civil War Due to the Skill and Leadership of Trotsky? The red victory in the civil war in 1919 may have been due to the skill and leadership of Trotsky who was the founder and first leader of the Red Army. As well as this there were other factors which contributed such as geographical factors, the unity and organisation of the reds and the support that they had. The reds were victorious in the civil war due to the skill and leadership of Trotsky who had been made commissar for war in 1918. He restored harsh military discipline and professionalism to the ‘worker’s and peasants red army’ by reintroducing the death penalty for those who did wrong which meant that men were made to fight as more of an effective fighting force. He also reorganised the army and so it had a strict hierarchy and he brought back thousands of former Tsarist officers to train and command the units. To do this he held their families hostage which meant that their loyalty was ensured. In addition to this he attached a political commissar to each army of the unit and ended soldiers committee’s and officer’s elections which meant that the loyalty of the officers was ensured so he would retain power, For those men who were unable to fight, due to age or physical inability, formed labour battalions. This meant that the Front received more help and nobody had an excuse to not fight in the army and so it would prevent people from thinking they could use injuries to get...

Race & Your Community

All three of these groups have contributed to Red Wing’s economy, workforce, services, and housing. I will be analyzing the influence that race has on Red Wing in terms of neighborhoods, employment, and other environments with which I am familiar. I will also be comparing myself to others in the community and examining our differences and similarities in regard to lifestyle, culture, background, and community acceptance. I will not only unveil racism and inequality within Red Wing, but I will also give examples to prove that the City of Red Wing takes these matters very seriously and is taking immediate and effective steps to both embrace diverse ethnicities and educate the community about diverse cultures in hopes to promote tolerance and acceptance. The population of Red Wing, last recorded in July, 2007 at over 15,000, is made up of 93% White Non-Hispanics, 2.6% American Indians, 1.3% African Americans, 1.3% Hispanics, 0.8% two or more races combined, and 0.5% other races. Of the 15,000 residents, 1.3% are foreign born, a low percentage compared to the 5.3% foreign born residents living in the entire state of Minnesota (Red Wing, 2007). To What Extent Were the White’s Weaknesses Responsible for Red Victory in the Russian Civil War, 1918-21?

...extent, the Red victory in the Russian Civil War was due to the White’s weaknesses. However, a combination of these weaknesses together with the Bolsheviks own strengths were responsible for the defeat of the Whites, in terms of resources and geographical location, political support, leadership and foreign help. In terms of geography and resources, the Reds had control over the more densely populated areas in western Russia. That area was populated by some 70 million people, in comparison to the 20 million in the Whites controlled areas, which meant they could recruit more people. This gave the Reds a huge numerical advantage, White generals only had between 250,000 men at their disposal whereas the Red army counted with 400,000 men in 1919 and over 5 million by the end if the Civil War. It was a central area that was easier to defend and in which to keep internal lines of communication. In contrast, the White armies were physically separated, which made the coordination of their military actions more difficult. For example, in 1919 General Denikin’s forces were defeated in the south-east region of Russia due to his inability to organize a strategic plan with Kolchak, which would have proved a great danger for the Bolsheviks. Another key advantage was that the areas under Red control included the industrial centres of the country, Petrograd and Moscow, which meant they had the capacity to manufacture armaments and not be dependent on foreign assistance, as the Whites were. Also...
