Retail market and consumer behavior

Detailhandel er en proces’ med, at sælge små mængder af goder og varer direkte til kunderne. I de seneste år er detailmarket blevet ændret dramatisk, takket være stigende indkomster I befolkningen, nye teknologier og andre faktorer.

5Disse dage forbrugerne har individuelle ønsker og de kræver mere fra detailhandlerne end tidligere. Ofte er de villige til at ofre en masse tid og gøre en ekstra indsats til erhvervsgoder der har de kvaliteter de kan lide. Mange vælger internettet som en mening af lokalisere og købe varerne.

For at opfylde et behov eller ønske om et produkt med en bestemt egenskab, kan dagens forbruger bastille varer fra andre kontinenter I stedet for, at købe tilsvarende produkt fra en butik lige ved siden af.

Nutidens forbrugere viser mere og mere engagement til at få bestemte produkter, de forventer at spare tid ved at sikre andre, hvilket der til gengæld kan forårsage forandringer i de eksisterende skikke.

Virksomheder der vil sælge deres produkter deler ofte deres kunder ind i forskellige segmenter med bestemte præferencer. Disse segmenter kan være en gruppe med folk som businessfolk eller husmødre, eller mere generelt mænd, kvinder og børn (drenge og piger) i forskellige aldersgrupper. Alle disse kunder forventer ydeevne, komfort, eller til andre anledninger, en unik oplevelse med kvalitet.
