“Eonni..”
Hani mulai menghapus air matanya. Kau jahat, Oppa! Kenapa tak memberitahuku tentang semuanya sejak dua tahun yang lalu? Kenapa kau menyembunyikannya dariku?
Hani mematung, membenarkan ucapan Seungri.

Atom Alternate Ending Essay

...We can’t even get along.” “No, Atom, you, I made this place for you, it’s for you to mature.” said God. “I don’t understand,” said a very confused Atom. “This is all for you, everytime I send you back, every life you live, you grow and mature and understand the grand meaning behind all of this just a little more each time,” said God. “Just me?” asked Atom completely lost now, “What about everybody else?” “Atom there is no one else,” said God, “you Atom are every human being who ever existed.” “Wait, so I’m everyone who ever existed ever?” asked Atom in a sort of excited yet curious way. “Yes, now you see,” God said. “Wait, so I’m Jesus?” asked Atom. “And all of his disciples,” replied God. “I’m Hitler?” asked Atom. “And the millions he murdered,” said God. Atom said now totally astonished, “That’s deep.” God added, “You see Atom, every act of hatred and violence you committed against another you committed against yourself, and everyone act of love and kindness you also extended unto...

Become an Organ Donor

...Become an Organ Donor “Life is like an onion: you peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep (Sandbury, n.d.).” By this time tomorrow, 12 people in America who are alive right now will be dead. Not because they were in a car wreck, Not because they were gunned down, Not because their time had come, not even because they were not in the hospital, but simply because they could not be given a life-saving transplant in time. 12 people will die because the organ transplant they need will not be possible. Money is not the issue here, nor is scarcity. Each day, there are more than enough potential donors who pass away who could meet all the needs of people on the waiting list. The problem is those potential donors die without leaving instructions that they are prepared to help someone live after them. And this is an issue on an enormous scale. Currently, nearly 60,000 Americans are waiting for a life saving organ transplant. Hundreds of thousands more would benefit from a life enhancing tissue transplant. And yet every day 12 people will die while awaiting a transplant. And every 16 minutes another name is added to the waiting list. Here is the real tragedy: It truly is so easy to fix this problem. Fortunately, there is an amazing network across the United States that links hospitals with one another and can match donors with potential patients. In addition, there is another reliable and sophisticated organizations running like the United Network for Organ Sharing which...

Information Processing Theory

...speech is not to educate, inform or inspire … it is to make the audience smile, relax, enjoy and maybe even laugh their heads off. How do you make a speech entertaining? There are many ways to entertain an audience. You can: * tell jokes * tell funny stories * dramatize an anecdote * tell a scary story When it comes right down to it … there are probably as many ways to entertain as there are entertainers … and audiences. That said, there are some guidelines to creating an entertaining speech. * Chose an appropriate topic: You don’t want the topic to be too dense, complicated or heavy. Remember, you’re not trying to give your audience a greater understanding of anything. You’re there to help them have a good time.   * Enjoy yourself: Believe it or not, it is hard for an audience to enjoy your presentation if it looks like you are not enjoying presenting it!   * Keep it simple: Your presentation should be easy to follow. Don’t make it hard for your audience to keep up with you mentally … or in any other way.   * Make it visceral: Use vivid word pictures. This is not the type of presentation where you can be lazy in your descriptions. Make your words pop with strong images that pop in their minds.   * Say it like a roller coaster, baby! Add unexpected twists and turns to your presentation. When you surprise your audience with where your story is going, that adds to the entertainment factor. ... It solved them all—and all the same way! 2 B R 0 2 B by KURT VONNEGUT, JR. Everything was perfectly swell. There were no prisons, no slums, no insane asylums, no cripples, no poverty, no wars. All diseases were conquered. So was old age. Death, barring accidents, was an adventure for volunteers. The population of the United States was stabilized at forty-million souls. One bright morning in the Chicago Lying-in Hospital, a man named Edward K. Wehling, Jr., waited for his wife to give birth. He was the only man waiting. Not many people were born a day any more. Wehling was fifty-six, a mere stripling in a population whose average age was one hundred and twenty-nine. X-rays had revealed that his wife was going to have triplets. The children would be his first. Young Wehling was hunched in his chair, his head in his hand. He was so rumpled, so still and colorless as to be virtually invisible. His camouflage was perfect, since the waiting room had a disorderly and demoralized air, too. Chairs and ashtrays had been moved away from the walls. The floor was paved with spattered dropcloths. The room was being redecorated. It was being redecorated as a memorial to a man who had volunteered to die. A sardonic old man, about two hundred years old, sat on a stepladder, painting a mural he did not like. Back in the days when people aged visibly, his age would have been guessed at thirty-five or so. Aging had touched him that much before the cure for aging was found. The...
