Introduction
The purpose of this report is to establish how two the concept of the managerial escalator (Rees & Porter, 2008,) fits in with two interviewed individuals and whether or not the concept demonstrates that either of the individuals conformed to this concept in order to achieve their positions. The questions chosen should trigger a response by the interviewee that should give a clear insight as to whether or not their progression follows the concept given b Rees and Porter. Management comprises of direction and control of a group of one or more people or entities for the purpose of coordinating and harmonizing that group towards accomplishing a goal. Most management is done by people who also undertake specialist work and have core managerial skills which is collected and learned over time and understand the role approach to management. In conclusion, the findings uncover that the concept of the Managerial Escalator fits and be useful for the experience of the two managers. Being promoted from a specialist to manager; being underwent professional training to become managerial hybrids in order to conduct their role approach to management efficiently
