Dear Coach Shelton:
My general area of interest was Charity/Giving back. I chose this because I never really gave back because I was never really able. Now that I have a job I feel as if I should give back to people that’s not really able to do for their selves. In this area I researched & learned about the way Monthly giving works at the providence house, and a lot more things I can do to help take care of family’s.
My project will have many people involved like my mentor & many of my teachers and classmate will help by donating to the fundraiser. My fundraiser will take place in Shreveport/Bossier at a church. This Charity is really way beyond my expenses. This will take a lot of my time. It will cost a lot of money if I don’t manage my money correctly.
Before working with the providence house I will need to research some information about homelessness and the organizations that service the homeless. Each year the providence has 20 to 25 formerly homeless families who returns back to the Shreveport/Bossier. These people were trying to avoid welfare and depending on public agencies.
I have multiple mentors. They all have a heart for the homeless. One of my mentors is located at the providence house. Her name is Leanne Chriswell. Another One Of my mentors Ms. Ashley Harris she helps me come up with idea how to help the homeless. Ashley gives charity a lot she feeds them at her church and she gives her clothes. Mrs. Chriswell is over the donation part of the Providence house.
I Jekendra Jones do understand that if I were to plagiarize on my senior project I will have to deal with the repercussions. I also understand that if I plagiarize that I will not get the credit for the class and I will fail the class and will not graduate.
