History and story of KaruMagic:

This land has a rich heritage of magical lore, of a kind found nowhere else. Its annals describe how long ago Gods, heroes and lovers lived out their highest destinies on this soil. The first inhabitants of this particular land were those of myths and legends who possessed many magical powers and abilities in many different forms. Among them were Fairies, Pixies, Dryads, Nymphs, Brownies, Sprites, Whisps, Elves, Dwarfs, Hobbits, Drow, Dark Elf, Gobblins, Trolls, Orcs, Mermaid, Mermen, water nymphs, Dragons, Drakes, Gryphons, Centaur, Fawns, Satyrs, Unicorns, Anthromorphs and many animals; and a few humans (although these beings are rare), who were known as the Galens. Being fairly peaceful and living in harmony between themselves (after they had all combined forces to rid their lands of the dreaded Dark Force that had plagued them for decades with the Dark Wars) and with nature as they followed the Druidic laws and lifestyles; this blend of creatures enjoyed their peaceful existence until they were invaded by a people known as the Celts.

The Galen after many battles fell under the control of the Celts, eventually the land started to bloom. Not with impressive buildings, nor by suppressing of other cultures, like the Greek, the Persians and the Romans did, but by creating a blended society based on the Brehon Law; because the Celts after battling the Galen races for so long had become familiar with the history and learned to appreciate and respect the courage, wisdom and intelligence of the Galen. The Celts then conquered them not in battle but by intermingling of blood, economy, and belief. As legend has it this blended people were bestowed with many gifts from their Gods as a reward for finding and living in peace. The only blotch to this ideal society was the repeated return and threat of chaos from the Dark Forces that sought nothing but to destroy all peace and prosperity.

Between the arrivals of the Celts and the time of peaceful existence, a unique culture had developed that had a highly complicated social and religious system. The Celts knew classes in their society, but they were by no means rigid. Depending on one’s capacities in battle or in running a farm it was possible to obtain a higher, or lower, rank. About the same principle applied on religious figures, one could through the use or study of magic become a Wizard, a Sorceress or Mage. During this period many legendary kings and heroes could obtain God-like status and were often considered immortal for their feats of bravery, cunning, wisdom or strength; but when, or if he married the wrong woman he lost his immortality in the blink of an eye.

It was through this ability to rise through the classes that the Elven race came to rule this particular kingdom. A great Elven warrior named Aer Karu, became king and was greatly admired for his strength in battle and the cunning, yet fair way in which he dealt with his enemies and his swift ability to rid the land of the repeated appearances of the aged Dark Forces that have been a constant threat to the Elven and Fae throughout time. By defeating the Dark Force and driving it from the land the mighty warrior Aer Karu was crowned King of all Elven people. With this status he married the love of his life Ama (an Elven princess), and together they ruled side by side for several years. Both the King and Queen were eager to bring an heir to the throne into the world. They were so thrilled when Ama gave birth to Steven60 Karu, everyone in the kingdom rejoiced! Then tragedy struck. Ama had been killed during an attempted kidnapping by outsiders to the kingdom. Life was hard for Steven with his mother dying when he was so very young that his Elven father decided to take a second wife to help raise Steven60. Against the advice of many close to King Aer, he decided to make a kind hearted but lowly human his second wife, who soon gave birth to TonyS Karu a half brother to the future King.

As time passes the two boys grow into strong, intelligent men who generally overlooked the curious stares of people new to the kingdom not aware of the family history and not believing a union between Elf and human could ever be a good thing. As happens with all living beings, King Aer dies and Steven60 Karu becomes King. Despite the ill feelings toward humans in general by most of the kingdoms subjects, TonyS and his mother are treated with respect and seem to be well liked by all. As the years go by, many rumors begin to flow around the fact that neither the King nor his brother had taken a wife. While it seems the rumors were not unkind nor looked unfavorably toward the half human, TonyS; according to certain sources, the rumors seemed to be centered around the possibility of TonyS being named as successor to the throne if an heir to Steve60's throne was not born.

So to put an end to the rumors and because they themselves felt it was time to marry, the King and his brother set out to find wives. Before long they met and married sisters, who remarkably were born and raised in much the same manner that the King and his brother had been!

Special04 Magic, first child of the King and Queen of Faires in a neighboring kingdom was raised by a human step-mother after her father had remarried because her Fae mother had died giving her life. Her Fae father and human step-mother had one child, also a daughter named-LittleKitten. The girls grew up very close all their lives and neither wanted to be separated from the other. So, as it turned out, Steven60 Karu (King of the Elves), marries Special04 Magic (who becomes Queen of the Fairies) and TonyS Karu marries LittleKitten Magic (both of them being half human created a special bond between them). After the wedding and days of feasting and merriment, Special04 and LittleKitten leave the home of their parents to travel with their new husbands to a new life. The four arrive in the small kingdom to the sound of cheers, good tidings, & well wishes to live long and rule wisely over the kingdom of KaruMagic....

Where Did Anthromorphs Come From...

What is an Anthromorph? Where did they come from you ask? Well therein is a story and like all stories it begins...Once Upon A Time...many centuries ago, before the Dark Wars, there was an Ancient.. Alas, his name and heritage have been lost through time, some say to protect, others say he simply became a recluse, and there are those that think what I am about to tell you is what started the Dark Wars. The Dark One seeking to destroy the Ancient stole that which was most precious to the Ancient. He stole his beloved. The Dark One stole her and using his magic sought to destroy her. Some think it was her emerald eyes pleading with him that broke his concentration and some say his own cat knocked over something, but it was this that enraged him and he twisted the Ancient’s loved one into a feline.

Her mind trapped in her human self, but bound to a feline body. Although he didn't destroy her, he was pleased with himself nonetheless. He destroyed what the Ancient cherished most. The Dark one hungry for more set out to cause havoc in new worlds leaving the Ancient to his misery.

Now the Ancient looked everywhere for his beloved. He could not find her even though he sensed her close to him. Wrought with grief, he shut out the rest of the world and time passed. Then, one day he noted a beautiful cat had taken to him. For how long that cat had been lurking around he could not recall, so heartbroken he was. The cat became his constant companion. The cat could not tell him it was her, could not communicate...for each time she tried only a mew passed her lips. She longed to have his arms around her, to caress her, to kiss her, but t’was only nuzzling that she got. A loud purring emanated from her body upon his touch. She strolled with him in the moonlight, but longed to dance in his arms, she was there at first light when the sun rose wishing she could say good morning to him, to see him slip off to his work while she slumbered. To hear, “I love you,” pass his lips to her ears. She was trapped.

The Goddess Bast became furious when saw that the Dark Force had deigned to insult her and her kind. To have stolen a child of hers and use his magic for something so wrong; knowing with a crushing blow that the evil magic the Dark Force used could not be reversed, she thought long and hard about her choices. As the Goddess Bast has been known throughout time as the romantic she is; she decided that a new race would be born. The Dark Force had birthed the idea...but it was then that Bast smiled a Cheshire Grin...for now was born a new race; part human, part feline.

One morning, as the sun was just breaking through the trees and the birds were beginning to sing their song, the beautiful cat stretched out leisurely to look at her toes. She was startled; toes? She turned her head and saw an arm....but the arm had markings. She turned and there lay her Love looking into her eyes. Eyes he had looked into many times now and seeing a cat, but never seeing her. He realized then what the Dark Force had done; but she was here now. Magic like that can’t be reversed. His Love spoke to him of what had happened. But how she was now they were not sure, and it was at that moment of recognition of the evil things the Dark force had done that legend claims “they” appeared; the Goddess Bast and the Eldest Fae.

Having the wisdom to know the Dark Force would return and attempt to reek even more vengeance upon the Ancient and his loved one the Goddess Bast and the Eldest Fae together wrapped and bound the Ancient and his beloved to protect them until the day the Dark Force could be stopped. However, the Goddess Bast and the Eldest Fae knew that because of the role they took and the deeds they did that their people needed watchers, guardians. So there in the early morning light, a new race was started....that of the feline Anthromorphs the children of Bast and Fae magic.

The Goddess Bast imparted much wisdom to them both. She blessed them with nine lives. The Eldest Fae gifted them with sight. The ability to see between the veil of the worlds and to slip between them. This new race would be the natural guardians of the Fae and forever watchful for the Dark Force. The Goddess Bast in her wisdom of outdoing the Dark Force therefore created what the Dark Force sought to destroy; perfect love. Each of her children would have a mate which would make them together whole. From time to time she would nudge certain Anthromorphs together…for together those two would be powerful.

Now, forward many centuries and we herald in the Middle Ages and the time of the Black plague, war and chaos. The Dark Force once again makes an appearance. The plague killing many and making those left irrational so they saw the cat as an abomination of the Dark Force. So, the humans set out to destroyed them. The Dark Force was at work and once again and the Goddess Basts children paid the price. The Goddess Bast wept. It was time to call her guardians to fight against the Dark Force so now they appear once again to protect the Fae.

The Tournament:

The Dark Force was working to undermine the King Steve60 Karu (who was a direct descendent of the Ancient One), and create chaos within the kingdom. The Queen’s (who is a direct descendent of the Eldest Fae), crown had been stolen! This was not just any crown...this was one that contained special powers of the Ancient Fae that were gifts from the gods that had protected her family for centuries. Her parents had given it to her on the day of her marriage to King Steven60 Karu because it could be used in battles against any dark powers that would seek to destroy the peace of the small kingdom.

The Dark Force acting as a common thief, so secure in his craftiness, bragged that the Evlen and Fae would never find the crown and that it had been hidden close by. So confident in the knowledge that the crown would never be found, the Dark Force even challenged King Steven60 to find the crown if he could. The Dark Force sent a messenger to the King and told him that a map had been created and torn into 12 pieces. Each piece had one letter of a secret word that would unlock the magic box the crown was hidden in ... IF the box was ever located. The Dark Force then hid the 12 pieces of the map across the kingdom, thinking no one would ever be able to find all the pieces.

Now King Steven60 Karu had inherited his legendary father’s wisdom and cunning and had heard the legends of the Dark Force and knew he must outsmart the Dark Force if he hoped to be able to retrieve his Queen’s crown and continue to have peace in his kingdom. So the King decided to have a tournament, a battle between the best warriors from the surrounding kingdoms and his own troops and reward the winners handsomely. From the group of combatants he would ask for a show of courage and valor by asking them to join forces in a quest for the stolen crown. The proclamations went out inviting all to compete, and the day was glorious! The combatants competed with great show of strength, courage and skill. The competitions were fierce and fraught with excitement. After the winners were declared, the King issued forth an invitation to all the combatants to join in the quest and offered a wonderful purse to the individual that could present him with the 12 pieces of the map, and the Queen’s stolen crown. A few declined but many brave warriors stepped forward to come to the aid of the king and his Queen.

The quest began, many times the participants were frustrated as the Dark force truly did make finding all 12 pieces seem like an impossible feat. However, their courage and perseverance began to pay off, most of the pieces were found then greed, and suspicion struck the hearts of the participants. Soon none dared turn his back on the others for fear of being attacked and his pieces of the map stolen! Heated words word exchanged many times. Tempers flared out of control, swordfights ensued, and friend fought against friend to try and gain possession of the map pieces. Upon hearing this news the Queen implored her personal guard, a small woodland fairy with good magic; to go watch over the group to try and use her magic to sooth nerves and enable the participants to see reason with each other and work towards a common good. The brave little Fae did the bidding of the Queen, and spent a great deal of the night sprinkling her dust and conjuring spells to keep the warriors calm and willing to work with each other. Finally, a pact was made between the participants they agreed to work together and split the prize. Relieved when she heard the news the Queen told the King he would have to split the reward, but the King said he could not as that was not his words. He had to pay the individual that presented him with the map pieces and the crown.

An odd feeling began to grip the Queen, and before she could identify the source there came a request from the Quest participants for the King and Queen to come to the Quest search area. Upon their arrival, the King and Queen discovered the Leader of the Elven Rangers pointing her sword at the heart of another quest participant! The Quest participant and his favored partner (the only two humans that took part) in the quest were obviously at odds and attempting to do combat with the Ranger Leader. The King ordered all weapons to be lowered, grudgingly they obeyed. As it turns out the humans had turned traitors to the rest of the Quest participants disregarding the pact they made to split the reward. The human warrior known as Havoc Thor and his partner, Shelby Oliver had schemed together to get the prize money no matter what or who got hurt by their plan. In the end, the King paid the reward as he was bound by his word, and Havoc Thor and Shelby Oliver committed the ultimate betrayal of their bonds to the kingdom by disavowing any allegiance to the King and Queen and claiming right to the ancient castle ruins that are part of the KaruMagic Kingdom. As if that was not enough, they swore to do all they could to kill all Elven and Fae and take full control of the entire kingdom. The King and Queen disavowed the friendship once given to the cowardly pair by the crowned couple and pledged to broadcast word to all ends of the known world of the treachery displayed by the human pair. They now put forth a call on all friends and protectors of Elven and Fae to come to fight once again the Dark Force and its’ puppets…the humans!

Brands and businesses for our employees. Compensation is one of the most important and rewarding factors for our employees based on our organizational health survey conducted in 2011, so a thoughtful and thorough approach should be taken as we think about changing the way in which our companies reward our employees for the work they perform on a daily basis. Salary and hourly compensations are easy and constant ways of paying the employees of our companies. Salary and hourly compensation can be a set wages employees will earn based on their job description. This wage will not change based on seniority or merit. The stability of this type of compensation system is appealing to employees as they are aware of how much income they will receive on a regular basis. Hourly based pay has very little room for opportunity of growth for the employees. ...Business Research Report Evaluation of Information Technology Systems Table of Contents Executive Summary 3 Introduction 4 Research Findings 5 Apple iPad 5 Toshiba Excite™ 13 6 Samsung Galaxy Note II 6 Recommendations 7 Conclusion 7 References 8 Executive Summary For a large company, with a large sales department, with many remote employees, three different technologies that have emerged within the last five years were looked at to compare features, usability, and size. I also looked at was how easy or difficult each device would be to set up, as well as how secure each device would be for employees to use. The devices were compared to find which device would be best to have each employee use. The Apple iPad is practical for small businesses because it can be set up for fewer users and it easy to use, as well as compact, which makes it easy to transport form office to office or from home to home for remote employees. Unfortunately, for large companies, the Apple iPad can be difficult to set up for multiple users on a single iPad.
