On 12/5/2017 at 9:47 AM I was dispatched to speak with Sgt. Kenny Hodson from the Harper County Sheriff's Office in reference to identifying a possible theft suspect who was thought to live in South Haven. I called Sgt. Hodson, who told me he had a victim alleging several items of property was missing from his home after he evicted the former tenant. He said the woman's name was Sandra Topinka, and she was said to have been helped by a Jimmy Tatum from South Haven. Sgt. Hodson said Sandra had been living in a house, where his victim previously lived. The victim had been staying in Wichita for the last two months, and had allowed Sandra to live in the house outside Anthony. The victim told Sandra she had to go, and had until this last weekend to get all of her things out. When the victim went to the house on Monday he was missing several items of property to include a water heater, small freezer chest, a bed, a washer and dryer, and a book shelf among other items. A short time later, Sandra came outside to speak me, and identified herself as Sandra Kay Topinka. She said she left the residence near Anthony, because Charlie told her to get out. She denied taking anything but her own items, and began to list just like Jimmy the items that were still there when they left Sunday Morning. I explained to her as well why I was there, and thanked them for their cooperation. As I was leaving I noticed a washer and dryer set in the garage as well as a standup freezer. I asked Jimmy if the items were his, and he said they were. I asked if I could go into the garage to look at the appliances, and he consented to that as well. I took photos of the items, and cleared the call around 12:00 PM. All photos are down loaded to the s-drive under this case number. I called Sgt. Hodson to explain my
