Unit 2 Discussion Assignment

The product that I want to market is organic dried fruits. I want to market this product because it is healthier, safe for the environment, and people don’t want to consume toxic foods anymore. In the modern world, fruits and vegetables are grown spraying chemicals, pesticides, or they are genetically modified organisms (GMO). All of these products are harmful to our health and environment.

I came up with this decision based on my personal observation on how some farmers grow their crops. I have seen farmers spraying pesticides and chemicals on their crops in order to control plague and speed grow. After the toxins are sprayed not a living creature survives in the field. The toxins sprayed impregnates into the fruits and vegetables and remain there; when these products are consumed it goes to our bloodstream causing cancer and other illnesses. These people are demanding for healthy and chemical free products. That is why I believe my products will succeed among the health-conscious consumers. Some supermarkets already offer scarce quantities of organic products; however, are they really organic?

My products are 100% organic; they come from trusted farmers who plant their crops using manures from different farm animals. Moreover, the fruits are dried with a sunlight using special sealed panels.

Organic farmers need to be compensated with a decent profit so they can auto sustain and continue farming organic products. Therefore, in order to determine the real demand for my products, a serious research needs to be
