Jane Elliott's experiment was; she split the kids up in her class on their eye color, brown or blue eyed. Her experiment consisted of segregation. Segregation is the physical separation of two groups of people in terms of residence, workplace, and social events; often imposed on a minority group by a dominant group. (Schaefer,240)The brown eyed kids had to put on collars so you could tell they were brown eyed. The brown eyed people could not get seconds at lunch, they had to get a paper cup to drink out of the water fountain and could not play with blue eyed kids at recess. By the end of the day the blue eyed people were vicious to the brown eyed people and shut them down every time they needed something. The next day Jane Elliot reversed
