After being released from his finale labor camp by the U.S. Army Simon Wiesenthal decided to dedicate his life to tracking down and bringing justice to the remaining members of the NAZI terrorist group.
He started his life's work by working in the War Crimes Section of the United States Army, and in 1947 he was elected to direct the Jewish Documentation Center in Linz, Austria which ran until 1954. Wiesenthal also founded the the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles in 1977. During his time hunting NAZI war criminals Simon assisted in the capture of over 1,000 NAZIs.
