Stargon's Story Summary: The Legend Of The Dragon

Dragons are giant, reptile-like creatures who possess enormous wings and have scaly skin. When people think of dragons, often times they associate them with chaos and pure evil. And who wouldn’t? During medieval times dragons were known to have demolished entire villages, leaving no signs of life whatsoever. They were the cause for thousands of deaths and were known to have killed for brute greed, since they were only in search of shiny and valuable treasures.
Unfortunately, for those readers who are expecting blood and turmoil, this is not the story of such tyrant dragons who kill people in such merciless ways. Instead, this story takes quite the opposite route.

Back to the tale, Emi had known no other human and consequently, she knew no other love than that for Stargon. You may think this seems quite bizarre, that such grand creature was capable of raising a human child. But let me tell you that being raised by a dragon brought many privileges. Stargon was the dragon of all stars. She had immense power; for once, she could easily destroy an entire planet within seconds. And this, dear reader, was no easy task. Although loved and cherished by her mother, Stargon’s lessons were very rigorous for little four-year-old Emi. She was expected to wake up at the dawn of light and her lessons wouldn’t find end until dusk. Emi was taught how to strengthen her body through the bright light of the stars. And being taught by the star dragon herself, Emi within months was able to manipulate the position of the stars for her own conveniences. The only exception to such usage of the constellations, was of course, to put them back into their rightful position.
Emi was taught many incantations that brought forth her dragon slayer magic. Given that Stargon was such a gentle beast, she thought it better for Emi to utilize her magic for healing and protection purposes. Thus, Emi’s lesson were solely focus on restoration.
Stargon, having lived more than four centuries, was no fool and taught Emi self defense and counter attacks. Although, Stargon taught her such high leveled incantations, she would greatly discourage the use of them, unless it was absolutely necessary. For once she knew that Emi would wake up one day and would see no sign of her.
Eight short years passed before Stargon’s eyes and Emi was now ten-years-old. When Stargon took on the mission to care and raise Emi, she was well aware that once Emi turned of age, she would have
