DEVELOP A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP TO WORK WITH EACH OTHER In order to develop a committed relationship to work with others there needs to be communication of ideas and knowledge. The communication of these two need to be effective so that the team will be on the same page. BE RESPECTFUL, BE DEDICATED, AND BE CREATIVE When being respectful, dedicated and creative, you must also be trustworthy. Communicate effectively and professionally to help motivate and strengthen the team. This will be the foundation of building trust. The team will be able to decipher whether or not you are genuine and if they will put their trust into you as their leader. A good leader will listen when someone is speaking and will mentally register the entire message before giving feedback or constructive criticism. Listening shows that the team is also being respected. In order to enhance a team’s performance there must be a leader that will in fact lead by example. Leading by example will prove dedication to the team and the team will return that same respect. Dedication means involvement on everything that goes on within the team and around the team. This could mean team successes, being involved by being creative and presenting new ideas, or even conflicts that arise within the team. If there is an unresolved issue that affects the team, it affects the team’s performance as well. Any issues should be immediately rectified without there being any judgments or criticism. Once all issues are resolved everyone should then be on the same accord. When everyone is on the same accord the ship will sail smoothly and delegation will be at a minimum. This is because the
