Written Explanation Draft

My Coat of Arms represents me in various ways. I used symbols that the people of the Middle Ages used back then to describe me. The people of the middle Ages used a lot of symbols to represent a lot of things. Writing actually started with us just using symbols to represent the things we wanted to write about. There are a lot of symbols that describe me. My motto is “Imago perfecta non est nisi Imago.” In English this means “A perfect picture is nothing but a picture.” This means that when you look at a picture that you think is absolutely fascinating you only see that picture. You don’t see or know what goes on before or even after that picture is taken. You only see the scene that is in the picture you are looking at. People judge pictures just like they judge the cover of books. They think that if a picture or a cover of a book doesn’t look appealing then you should take another picture, or you should pick another book to read. But that isn’t always the case. Even though pictures are supposed to be judge on what it looks like. I think that you should focus more on what is going on in the picture. “Imago perfecta non est nisi Imago.” I will now tell you why I chose the fox and the color red as its background. I used the color red because it identifies me as an extrovert and a confident person. It also symbolizes that I am energetic. I have a lot of energy in me and I am very sociable. I do not typically sit by myself and not talk to anyone unless I am upset about something. I used the fox because they represent thinking out of the box or thinking in creative ways. I think differently from most people. I think about things that people don’t always think about. People say I’m different for a reason. I’ve been told that there is a reason why my brain works the way it works. I’m different and I am very happy with being different. The cypress represents death and eternal life. I used it because there was a death in my family that really impacted my life. It left me devastated because that person was one of my best friends. He was like a big brother to me and he died a week after I had saw him. When my family was about to leave he kept giving us hugs and telling us he loved us over and over again. We didn’t know why he kept doing it. But after he died, we wished we would have gave us more hugs and told us he loved us one more time. I used the color black because it represents grief and I did grieve for a long time. I still feel sad talking about what happened but I have learned to deal with the fact that he is where he is supposed to be and that he is okay. The bay leaf represents victory and glory after a long inner struggle. I’ve struggled with a lot of things in my life even though I have only been on the Earth for 14 years. All of the things I’ve struggled with I seem to overcome it. Nothing can hold me down. People tell me that the things I want to do can’t be done by everyone. But I am not everyone. I can do whatever I put my mind to. The color blue represents doing thing your own way. I know some things you can’t do on your own. But there are some things that you can achieve all by yourself. I overcame my struggles by myself. No one helped me. I didn’t see a professional. I didn’t on my own and I did it my way. The moon has many symbols. One of the symbolisms is progression. Ever since I had learned to deal with certain things, my life started to get easier. I started to accept the fact that I wasn’t like everyone else. I didn’t think like everyone else thought. I didn’t look like everyone else looked. I started to figure out that there is no like me and I could never be anyone else. After I figured that out, everything seem to get brighter. My figuring that out made life easier. It made me think I was special and that I was put on the earth for a reason. I used the color white because it represents purity. I am a pure person. The only way to change that is to make the wrong decisions. But even if I do make the wrong decisions, all I do is keep going. That is all I can do. You can’t erase the past. You can only focus on the future.
