A few leadership service activities and clubs I have partaken in and hold a leading position in include being the co-president of Shortridge High School’s Costuming Club, the captain of the junior varsity volleyball team, a member of National Honors Society, Social Justice League, and Student Wellness Council. In the costuming club, I feel obligated to help my peers plan, sew, or assist them in any way in the club. Being the captain of the junior varsity volleyball team for two years, I was often responsible for running and planning practices before the coach arrived as well as helping any players that I saw struggling with learning a new skill or practicing an old one.
