The advertisement I choose to analyze was from Budweiser and was displayed during the SuperBowl last week. The ad was very sentimental and didn't directly advertise its main product (Which is beer). It informed the customer about the recent natural disasters that hit Texas, Florida, and California, and showed compassion by stopping their brewing process, and instead filled their beer cans with water and delivered it to the needed areas.
This advertisement is taking advantage of The Marketing Mix strategy, and using the related elements to appeal to the broad range of viewers that see the ad during the Super Bowl. Budweiser uses branding as its product element by turning the company name into more of a relief effort than just a simple beer

Demand quickly grew, and a soda fountain owner is credited with first implementing a bottling system for Coca-Cola. The unique contoured bottle was trademarked in 1977. Because social network sites record the electronic invitations from existing members, outbound WOM can be precisely tracked. Along with traditional marketing, WOM can then be linked to the number of new members subsequently joining the site (sign-ups). Because of the endogeneity among WOM, new sign-ups, and traditional marketing activity, the authors employ a vector autoregression (VAR) modeling approach. Estimates from the VAR model show that WOM referrals have substantially longer carryover effects than traditional marketing actions and produce substantially higher response elasticities.
