Tango Argentina

Tango often appears in the elite class in society which the ladies wear glittering evening gowns and gentlemen wear the tuxedoes and dance under tango music, but tango is originated from a lower class in society. In twentieth century, many immigrants came to Argentina from Europe, Africa, and flocked to Buenos Aires suburb, Argentina brothel. From there, a mixture of cultures creates a new kind of music and dance - it was the Tango. Although researchers’ musical history has pretty much controversy about the authenticity of its origin, it is acknowledged that tango was combined from several different countries. For instance, tone was knocked on drums by African slave; milonga was music of South America moors combined between Indian and Spanish, and also the other influences which include Latin. In Latin, tango is “tangere” which means two people are adjacent to each other. Therefore, people believe tango was from Latin.
The massive migration of Europeans come to the Argentina affect to both tango music and dance. During 1980, the population of immigrants came to Buenos Aires was increased from 850,000 to 1.7 million (Gannon, 2013, 5th ed., pp. 568). Unskilled worker, women and children had to work in unhealthy environment. Lives of immigrants at that time were a difficult and completely different from elite and middle classes, but at that time they have grown up a dance presented a shadow of their lower class. Most of immigrants were poor men and their lives were miserable. They had to work hard to have enough money to bring their families to Argentina or went back to Europe. Therefore, they used music and dance to forget their lives. Tango is about the unfortunate fate of being engulfed in pain and is the hurts music. During that time, tango usually dance with bandoneon which is music instrument. Therefore, Argentina has been a biggest bandoneon provider.
When tango has been integrated into one big social, dance structure still remains unchanged and Tango has quickly developed into a popular dance worldwide. During that period, Paris has turned tango into a major benchmark in the elite Argentina. Tango kept an ultimate position in restaurants, theaters that rich people usually hanged out. Many composers created the typical tango orchestra which rhythm is played on the piano and bowls and the melody is played on the bandoneon and violin. Tango was influenced by European immigrants and it became popular in France, then in England, and then in America. Each countries change tango by their cultures and tango was none stop developing. For instance, American teacher taught foxtrot, but they called tango. Tango America did not exist until 1913 to 1919 when tango imported from France, but it was mainly through United Kingdom. In 1930, a military coup in Argentina ended the right election of citizens and thus the voices of the people were silence, and also stop developing tango. Tango lived back again in the late 1930s when the Argentine people regained their political freedom. They celebrated the promotion of social status by tango and it became a symbol of solidarity and as a part of their daily lives. In 1946, Peron became president of Argentina, tango extremely became popular because he embraced wholeheartedly supported this type of music. In 1952, Peron’s wife died, tango again fell out of its dominance (Pfeffer, n.d.). With the invasion of rock and roll music of American, tango again went down. In 1985, the tour of the French performance called, "Tango Argentina," was attracting New York. Tickets was sold out within the first day . Through Europe and the rest of the Americas, Japan and South America, tango has left in the hearts of fans indelible impression. Tango has become a small business but powerful industry in Argentina and has become one of the products exported influential. Today Tango is in the renaissance of this art form.
Now, Argentina’s economic is not good and going down. Economic of Argentina was crisis now because citizens of Argentina were not good at choosing a leader who was worth for their leadership (Botting, 2014). According to YPF, company’s energy production, gas production and oil production fell. Argentina was a country where export huge amount of energies but it had to import hydrogen from different countries because the economic crisis.
