On the imperial academy for nobles.

It was about 4pm as the sky looks so heavy. When Lially was about to go home when her friend, Rain, approach her.
Rain: hey, Lially, do you have any plans tonight?
Lially: ahm, my mom wants me to go to a fashion show tonight around 7-10pm.
R: oh, you can still come, it’s a midnight event. Please! Pretty please! >.<
L: I’ll try. Ahm, its not something illegal? Is it?
R: ahm, I know my father is a syndicate but its not that illegal. Ahm, we can just call it an underground party, beside Emily and ai-chan will come, it would be boring if one of us isn’t there.
L: ok, ok. You got me there. I’ll come.
R: love you lially :* oh, here’s my ride <*limousine*> see you later, take care in your way home.
L: sure, sure. You too, take care

While Rain was a limousine as a service ride, Lially rides a taxi coz she doesn’t want to have any fancy service but her parents insist her to have one for her safety.

Arriving to her mansion.

Lially: I’m home mom! Is dad coming?
Joan<*lially’s mom*> : your dad has some business outside the country, lets eat we have to attend the fashion show. I’m the quest of honor there and I’m planning to introduce you to my colleages.
L: mom, we spoke about this. I don’t have any plans to enter your business.. >.<
J: I’m just joking, I respect your decision to have a private life. btw, how was school today?
L: I just want to see the new collection of your friend’s fashion house. My classmate told me that they have a nice collection. Ahm, school? The same as usual as the president of the student body, lots of meeting with the class representatives for the upcoming angel festival.
J: that’s my girl. <*so proud*> hurry up and change your clothes. We’re gonna be late.
L: ok, ok. I’ll take a shower.
J: hurry up princess…

Lially hurried up to her room, turned on the lights and took of her uniform(short white and blue checkered skirt, white long sleeve with a dark blue vest) and went straight to the shower, she change to a simple t-shirt and jeans style, ponied her long straight black hair, a simple pure black t-shirt and a blue straight-cut skinny jeans with a 3 inch high sandals.

Lially- mom, I’m ready, lets go.
Joan- black again? <*sigh*>. Don’t you have any other color rather than black?! Oh well, nevermind, let’s go, we’re gonna be late.

They went to the city.

Joan- how’s the boys? <*laugh*>
Lially- lots of suitors as usual haha.
But none of them qualifies.
Joan: your just like me when I was young
There’s lots of cute models in the fashion show.
L – mom… ampf
I don’t have any plans for that.
Eiw >.<
J – just tell me if someone caught your eye.
L – whatever.
J – oh, we’re here.

Inside the building.

J –(wow! There’s lot of people here)

The owner of the Ven’s fashion, Christine Ven, saw Joan.

Ven – my favorite artist, my guest of honor, joan mojica, thank you for coming.
Joan – I wouldn’t miss this, I’m your fan haha.
Oh this is my only daughter, Lially.
Lially – good evening ma’am, nice to finally meet you. My mother can’t stop talking about you.
V – how sweet of you. Ahm, nice to meet you too Lially.
I’ll show you your sits
Joan & Lially – thank you.

The fashion show was about to start, lights turned off, with some techno music then slowly the music fades and the run way glooms. And the models walk but not ordinary models but angels. As the angel walk one-by-one, the crowds sits there in awe.

Lially – mom, you didn’t told me that the models are angels.
Joan – haha, it’s supposed to be just a secret haha.

As the program goes on, the audience are like being drugged by the angel’s presence. And as the program ended, Lially wasn’t comfortable about being there and run outside to smoke some cigarette and waited for her mom to go out.

Joan – hey Lially, so, what do you think about the fashion show?
Lially – it’s awesome, it’s nice <*wew*> >.<
J – I told Ven that we’ll be going home.
L – is that so? Then let’s go, I’m exhausted. >.<
J – sure thing my dear.

They came back to the mansion around 11:30 and lially rush to her room, locked herself up and check up her phone. 3 missed calls and 1 unread message. She opened her inbox and it was Emily( one of her friends ) who texted her, “hey! Where are you? We’re waiting for you. You know where we’ll meet up, hurry up!”. As soon as lially read the text, she hurried to her window, opened it and climbed down from the 2nd floor of their mansion( she made it so easy coz she’s already used from it for sneaking out from home). She went into the bushes near the wall where she made her secret way out of the mansion and her friends where waiting for her on the other side of the wall.

Rain – what took you so long?! We’re been waiting in the cold for an hour >.<
Lially – sorry, sorry. There was a traffic in the city that’s why. >.< sorry again.
Emily – we should hurry up, where gonna missed the first part of the party.
Lially – we should hit the road and we’re gonna make it in time, might you forget ai-chan is the one whose driving. Hahaha
Emily – oh, your right. <*oh god!*> 0.0
Rain - <*damn! Who let her drive the car?*> 0.0
Lially - <*mother of god*> <*trolling*> 0.0
Ai-chan - <*grim smile*> >XD
Lially – so, what’s so important about the 1st part of this party?
Emily & Rain – you’ll find about it soon. <*evil smile*> <*creepy*>
Lially - <*I don’t like that smile*> >_<

Ai-chan as a silent type girl but she really is a professional careless drag racer that’s why they made it in time.

Emily – we’re here.
Lially - so this is the place?
Rain – ai-chan, try finding a place to park, somewhere that could hide the car. Ok.

The venue is an abandon building, more like a haunted place in the middle of wasteland. The 4 of them entered the venue building. A locked door welcomed them and voice spoke, asking the password and ai-chan whispered “the devil is alive” and the door opened to them. They were given mask to hide their identity. It was a dark place/room and the light are the blue dim lights on the four sides of the room and on the stage. Emily whispered to lially and to the others, “remember the place where we park the car, we’ll just meet up there if we got lose” said by Emily. There was lots of people, all in black (good things lially was already wearing black), some with tattoos, others having sex in the corner, some drinking a reddish thick liquid. Lially’s mind wondering what kind of people are she’s with. Then from the shadow, someone whispered, “you smell like an angel”, but when she turns her head back, no one was near her. Then the light on the 4 side of the room fades until the only lights are on the stage. A person came out from the dark with a mask without a hole for the eye and the mouth and then he spoke.
Ren – good evening brothers and sisters. I’m Vladimir Ren and I personally thank you for coming in this little party we have. I would be singing the 1st song for this party. This song is for us, my brother and sister, only us can understand this song. According to the bible of those Christians, their god, jesus Christ, gave them the holy spirit to understand every language there is. And its was called the tongues. But don’t they know that we have our own tongues. This is “my tongues”.

The crowd was in silent like being shot a hundred times. Everyone in the room was in awe. Then one in the crowd shouts “the devil is alive” and the crowds goes wild again as the music changes. Lially was still stunned and was shivering with unknown reason and felt something wet in her smooth cheeks, there was a teardrop. Still not in herself, went into the drinking venue in the room and took a taste of the red liquid, it was smooth when you drink it yet it would make you brain stop for a second and the time would slow down in front of you and she almost fell down but manage to control herself. And the singer, Ren, spoke again.

Ren – Again my brothers and sisters, thank you for coming. Hope you enjoyed your time in this party of ours. And please don’t take of your mask until your far from this building and please burn the mask to destroy the evidence of our existence. <*took of the mask*>

Lially was so shock that she was able to come back from being tipsy. It was the 1st time she saw some with a beautiful face with a red eye on the left and blue on the other. He was a vampire. And he saw Ren looking at her. She couldn’t move a muscle as her heart wanting to come out of her chest, bursting. But one of the audience took his mask off and yelled “I’m an agent from the holy palace! I’m arresting all of you! My men are near”. Most of the people in black look at the man and laughed and grim showing of their fangs. One of them spoke, “do you have a death wish or something? We could eat you or kill you(torture)” then Ren spoke to them, “brothers and sisters, I don’t want human dying in my place and being the owner of this lair, according to the satanic rules in earth, I demand respect and my orders is for all of you to leave my place and I don’t want humans to died this day or I will not show you mercy.”
And with that, the crowd runs wild to escape the building and to go as far as they go. As lially was almost been stepped in by the crowd if it wasn’t for Ren who saved her then she remembered to go to the meeting place along with him. As the holy guards occupied by building but too bad that the crowd escape so easily. As for the group of lially, they were as far as the lighting thanks to ai-chan.

Rain – that was awesome! Woooooo!
Emily – that’s so thrilling. Let’s do that again someday hahahahahahahahah
Ai-chan - <*laugh my f*cking ass off while driving around 120 km/h*>
Lially – one thing for sure, I won’t forget this day for the rest of life. <*thinks about the vampire and the songs she heard*>
Rain & Emily – that’s for sure. XD
Ai-chan - <*nodded*>

When there at Lially’s place, she hurried up, climbed and went to her room and tried to take a good night rest but still can’t forget the guys face, those deadly eyes, the way he spoke to her and the liquid she tasted but soon she did fell asleep.

The Intertestamental Paper

...a time of 400 years of war, destruction and dramatic change in the eastern ancient world. At this time, there were not any prophets that were sent by God. God was quiet and had not spoken to anyone to be a voice for His people. The changes during this time that faced the ancient world began with Alexander the Great. The Grecian or Hellenistic Period began with Alexander the Great. This paper’s significant event will focus on Alexander the Great and his crusades and how it affected the Jew. I will then focus on different kingdoms and their ruler ship during the Intertestamental Period. Alexander the Great and His Conquests (331-320 BC) Alexander the Great was born in 356 BCE. His father was King Phillip of Macedonia; his mother was Princess Olympia of Epirus. Alexander had always been a fearless, strong and eager to learn lad. He showed his fearlessness at seven years old while his father was away; “he cross-examined Persian envoys guests about the size and morale of the Persian army, the distance to Susa, and the condition of the roads leading there.” At nine years of age, Alexander went with his father to buy a stallion. The king’s grooms could not stable the...

...CHAPTER ONE CONVERSATION 1. Conversation is the essence of interpersonal communication. In many scholarly views they are equivalent and among no scholars the words conversation and interpersonal communication often men the same thing. Conversation occurs when two or three people exchange messages , weather face to face ,over the telephone, through apartment walls, or on internet. STAGES OF CONVERSATION PROCESS 2. There are five stages of conversation process Opening Feedback Feed forward Opening Closing 3. The opening. The first step is to open the conversation, usually with some kind of greeting. Greetings can be verbal or nonverbal and are usually both. Verbal greetings include, for example, verbal salutes ("Hi," "Hello"), initiation of the topic (The reason I called ") making reference to the other ("Hey, Joe, what's up?"), and personal inquiries ("What’s new?" " How are you doing?") Openings are also generally consistent in tone with the main part of the conversation, a cheery "How ya doing today, big guy?" is not normally followed by news of a family death. In opening a conversation, consider two general guidelines. Fist, be positive. Lead off with something positive rather than something negative. Say, for example, "I really enjoy coming here" instead of "Don't you just hate this place?" Second, don't be too...

Freud, the ‘Uncanny’, 1919

...3673 THE ‘UNCANNY’ (1919) Freud - Complete Works. Ivan Smith 2000. All Rights Reserved. 3675 THE ‘UNCANNY’ I It is only rarely that a psycho-analyst feels impelled to investigate the subject of aesthetics, even when aesthetics is understood to mean not merely the theory of beauty but the theory of the qualities of feeling. He works in other strata of mental life and has little to do with the subdued emotional impulses which, inhibited in their aims and dependent on a host of concurrent factors, usually furnish the material for the study of aesthetics. But it does occasionally happen that he has to interest himself in some particular province of that subject; and this province usually proves to be a rather remote one, and one which has been neglected in the specialist literature of aesthetics. The subject of the ‘uncanny’ is a province of this kind. It is undoubtedly related to what is frightening - to what arouses dread and horror; equally certainly, too, the word is not always used in a clearly definable sense, so that it tends to coincide with what excites fear in general. Yet we may expect that a special core of feeling is present which justifies the use of a special conceptual term. One is curious to know what this common core is which allows us to distinguish as ‘uncanny’ certain things which lie within the field of what is frightening. As good as nothing is to be found upon this subject in comprehensive treatises on aesthetics, which in general prefer to concern...

Daenerys

...DaenerysDAENERYS In this city of splendors, Dany had expected the House of the Undying Ones to be the most splendid of all, but she emerged from her palanquin to behold a grey and ancient ruin. Long and low, without towers or windows, it coiled like a stone serpent through a grove of black-barked trees whose inky blue leaves made the stuff of the sorcerous drink the Qartheen called shade of the evening. No other buildings stood near. Black tiles covered the palace roof, many fallen or broken; the mortar between the stones was dry and crumbling. She understood now why Xaro Xhoan Daxos called it the Palace of Dust. Even Drogon seemed disquieted by the sight of it. The black dragon hissed, smoke seeping out between his sharp teeth. “Blood of my blood,” Jhogo said in Dothraki, “this is an evil place, a haunt of ghosts and maegi. See how it drinks the morning sun? Let us go before it drinks us as well.” Ser Jorah Mormont came up beside them. “What power can they have if they live in that?” “Heed the wisdom of those who love you best,” said Xaro Xhoan Daxos, lounging inside the palanquin. “Warlocks are bitter creatures who eat dust and drink of shadows. They will give you naught. They have naught to give.” Aggo put a hand on his arakh. “Khaleesi, it is said that many go into the Palace of Dust, but few come out.” “It is said,” Jhogo agreed. “We are blood of your blood,” said Aggo, “sworn to live and die as you do.
