The documentary of the behind the scenes of The Topdog Diaries, made a huge difference when watching and reading the play of Suzan-Lori Parks. This documentary allowed me to see how Suzan-Lori Parks was able to write the story but also how she revised some scenes when it came to the play. One of the things that stood out for me was in scene 2 when they want to make the description of where Booth coaches Lincoln’s assassination act for work with more passion. Park’s mention that the directors see one point of view either sad or they see comedy which then she says that Wolfe is able to see both. Which in the behind the scenes the revision of that scene from the two actors allowed me to see what Parks and Director Wolfe were talking about. I think
