Julian Eastman, Samuel Westing, Sandy Mcsouthers, And Barney Northrup. Four different people right? WRONG! These four or one, are involved in the book The Westing Game written by Ellen Raskin. The book also has a movie but the book is worth reading. The book and the movie are highly similar but then again very different. The differences and similarities are quite surprising. The story is about a young little girl named Turtle Wexler. That's an odd name. Well her name is actually Tabitha Ruth Wexler. There's a lot to learn about her. Shes determined to win the westing game. Tabitha and the heirs of Samuel Westing try and figure out who “murdered him”. Tabitha kicks heirs when upset or when someone touches her braids. Like when they had the “party” in chapter 10. They did not have the trial in the book on the same day. But in the movie they had the party chapter 10 and the trial chapter 26 on the same day! And how about the characters! Theos not there. Chris is Chris and Theo. Flora is no longer there because Grace Wexler is now a normal mother. And don't forget that the storyline is completely off! Everything has changed! Even though all the differences make this essay super easy, there tons of similarities too. Turtle is still the Turtle as kids at Gull lake know. And the winner is the same. Turtle figures it out in both stories with the same answer. Sam westing was found dead in his house. And Turtle found him by the bet she had made. Everyone had the same roles as well. Sandy was sandy, Turtle was Turtle. Everyone was everyone.

The Westing Game is full of differences and similarities. The Westing Game has many mysterious parts and everyone has a mysterious role.
