...Time management and financial responsibilities will help me in successfully complete my college education path. First of all, time management gives me the power to control my time in a productive way. Because a day has only twenty four hours and seven of that I’m asleep, I feel that I have to use the remaining hours very wisely and make constructive choices. Knowing my body rhythms and habits, I will be successful in compiling my college education with success. For example, because I am a morning person, this time of day is the most efficient time for me, and therefore I will make sure to start working on my important things and big projects of the day. Time is irreversible and precious and for that reason, I have to know how to evaluate my preferences in order to succeed in life. Second of all, regarding financial responsibilities, I am a very independent and realistic person. I have a very strong base in this strength. I am positive that this problem will not stop me in pursuing my education dream. As an example, I had been waiting to start college for some time because I wanted to make sure that I could afford going to school. I planned this in such a way that my monthly expenses would be the lowest I could realistically get them to be. My goal is to pay as I go for all my courses and not carry any dept along these years. Because of this I need to make smart decisions in my path and make sure I choose the right profession. These habits and my attitude towards them will...

I recently became unemployed due personal reason but I think this break is good in order for me to focus on my school work; my mom agrees. I have major and minor responsibilities throughout every day (housekeeping, caretaking, etc.). As an online student, I suggest everyone create a written task document (using visual files like calendars) in order to remember daily tasks. Take 30 minutes to plan your day. I find it useful that the most important time of my day, was the planning time. Creating a schedule is useful for the entire year, day by day. Following things to do list which is organize by day, month and week. When it comes down to interacting with family and friends a conference list becomes very handy. This is just a page I jot down people names, which I hold conversations and it include things I need to talk to them about daily. When it comes down to my job or schooling I like to work in a clean space. I suggest my fellow classmates to organize their work stations into a neat tight space. If you have to use labeling, go ahead! I learned a person with a cluttered or “messy” desk loses more focus and becomes distracted. I don’t think anyone needs to be distracted while taken these 8 weeks courses here at APUS. If non-emergency I recommend blocking out all social media and instant messaging. It helps to stay focus on the class...

...Time Management Families are so busy these days. Trying to juggle work, school and domestic tasks is a huge challenge. The term time management became familiar in the 1950s and 1960s as referring to a tool to help managers make better use of available time. The term appears to indicate that time is managed, but actually activities are managed over time. (Rogelberg, 2007, para. 1) The basics of time management are easy to understand for the most part, it is implementing them that is the tricky part. This paper will go over some tips for time management. When deciding how to manage ones time, it is important to pay attention to the big picture. According to the writer, it can be extremely beneficial for the person to remember the long term and short term goals they have set. “When you develop a goal, make sure that it is a SMART goal. Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Time bound”. (Clark, January 4, 2010, tip 1) A good exercise can be writing down these goals. According to the writer, it is very easy to lose sight of these goals in day-to-day life. As a parent the writer knows how difficult it can be to balance goals for school and work with raising children. “Set firm limits about what your child can do after school. Make clear what jobs you expect to be completed by the time you come home. Posting a family “to do” list on a bulletin board may be help”. (Foley, 1993, tip 2) Setting jobs and chores for the children will help reduce the obligations...

So just because it fits best in a role, it does not mean he or she may have the best answer that fits in that particular role. ...There are many definitions of Organizational Behavior (OB). In order to develop a personal operating definition of OB, I read several definitions to help form a framework of what OB means to me. The definitions I read ranged from the very complex to the very simple. Along with many OB definitions, there are also many different types of research. Mole noted four assumptions that are used in all OB research (2002). 1. Behavior is predictable 2. Behavior is caused 3. Behavior has many causes 4. Generalities can be made Personal Operational Definition With the above assumptions, as well as the concept that OB is a combination of different fields of behavioral sciences, I developed the following operational definition of OB. The study of Organizational Behavior is to observe, analyze and learn, what variables influence individual behavior, at both the individual and group levels, and understand how it affects the behavior of the organization. I will use this operating definition in my organization as we plan to make a major software change. The process is underway to replace the maintenance software system with an updated software so that a purchasing package can be procured that will integrate the two. By observing the behavior of the employees, I will be able to better understand the cause of their resistance to change. This essay will go on to explain the term structure of interest rate how it is used by investors, the different theories and hypothesis behind it but also how the creation of long term rates effects its relation to risk. The term structure of interest rates also called the yield curve shows the relationship between interest rate and time to maturity of bonds, it is a common method of bond valuation. A graph is used to represent this relationship in relation to long term interest rates and short term interest rates where the maturity of an investment (x axis ) is compared to the interest rate (y axis) showing the yield (rate return) on bonds with the different maturity length. There are two main ways that an employee can have conflicts with the values, between them and their supervisors or coworkers, and between them and their company. Someone who has very strong values centered on faith will struggle with a company who requires weekend work which might cause them to miss a weekly service. Katherine Dean reminisces about a position she once held where her supervisor pushed them too hard, because he overly valued sales and financial gain, even above family time and a personal life. She felt that his drive towards profit caused competition between employees instead of a positive environment (Dean, 2011) When a supervisor is pushing their employees so hard for profits and time at the office, an employee who is more geared towards family will feel conflict. The employees felt that they were being pitted against each other, when they would...
