Introduction:
I will be assessing the implications of health and safety legislation and regulations for the role of Shenaz Awan, the head of business and ICT. I will be explaining her role in more detail.

Shenaz Awan is in charge of the business and ICT department of the college, her job is first of all, to be good teacher, to organised the college team and ensure that goals and objective of BSix College are perceived. She has to provide necessary business information and also create and maintain channels to enable teams’ members to do their work, what is more she is responsible about withdrawing poor performance students of the Business and ICT department.
She have to follow what she had been ask to do as her job role and report team progress and decisions made to concerned groups to give guidance to team members and also to assure that each member receives a team-based reward or recognition, such as best teacher of the year.
The purpose of her role is to act within the college and on behalf of her team, she have to constantly be seeking and safeguard that her team is delivering the highest possible services to their students the ICT and Business teams have to work together with her and ensure all students attend college regularly and hand in assignments on their deadlines and also ensure students feel interested in their chosen course.

Ever since health and safety has been introduced into the work place (BSix College) they have to have arrangement and complete risk assessments to the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 legislation. If an employee was given a risk assessment and the first implication was to make sure that this person include all possible hazards and risks related to it, than they have to make sure that the implantation taken into consideration involve all the employees within the college the reason why it is important
