As the world’s technology advances so does the ability to communicate. The Internet is a wonderful example of it, as time goes on the more complex the Internet gets.

Business communication affects the day-to-day work activities in tremendous ways. The telephones are used for ordering shipments, and communicating to the customers. A customers communication abilities over the telephone could be adding to the businesses clientele lists, or collecting past due balances. The communication trend of the Internet is a popular way to get a business’s name out to the public to attract more customers. The customers should also be able to monitor their spending’s and wants by logging on to a restricted webpage designed for individuals with usernames and passwords. As an employee the Internet makes it easy to verify account information for customers in person and over the phone.
How It Helps Manage Daily Activities The technology improving has helped employees and business owners manage daily activities. From the convenience of computers, lap tops, and notebooks to the newer technology of an IPad and blackberries the jobs can be done and monitored from anywhere. The Internet connecting all of the different devices together makes the convenience for the customers, business owners, and employees. Newer software is contributing to making the business world easier and more convenient. The software displays the information neatly so that the employees, customers, and business owners can easily read it.
Trends Seen In Workplaces and Message Types Video conferences are becoming more popular as the technology improves. As the Internet’s connection gets stronger and the technology and software that provides it gets better the more business will turn to using it. The fast foods and some stores are providing the employees with headsets to communicate with one another. Text messaging is another popular tend that has caught on. Employees and customers are using text messaging to keep track of bills and to communicate.
Conclusion The communication trends that have formed the technology of the business world have improved over time and will continue to improve. The convenience of the portable computer’s such as laptop’s, notebook’s, and IPad’s has made the business world available from the comfort of one’s home or at any Wi-Fi accessible location. The cell phones or smart phones with Internet access and text messaging has provided businesses convenience of reaching who every whenever or whatever one may need. The alerts of text messaging reminders are a newer trend that customers use to remember when bills are due or even if a transaction has been made on a credit or debit card. The biggest factor in a business’s survival depends on the communication abilities and performances.
