El UPS Smart Label es una etiqueta de envío generado por computadora que se puede crear mediante el ordenador. El elemento clave de la etiqueta inteligente es el código de barras y la misma información en el código de barras proporciona la confiabilidad a los clientes ya que como el código de barras contiene datos desde el sistema de clientes. Así que ahora cada vez que el paquete se escaneará se actualizará el sistema principal de la UPS. El cliente también tiene seguimiento exacto de la información del paquete.
