VIRAL – MOBILE MARKETING 1. Viral marketing:
Viral marketing (Marketing lan truyền) được định nghĩa dựa trên nguyên tắc lan truyền thông tin tựa như cách thức lan truyền của virus theo cấp số nhân. Hình thức marketing này bắt đầu từ một giả thuyết khách hàng luôn kể cho người khác nghe về sản phẩm hoặc dịch vụ của bạn mà khách hàng cảm thấy hài lòng khi sử dụng. Viral Marketing mô tả chiến thuật khuyến khích một cá nhân nào đó lan truyền một nội dung tiếp thị, quảng cáo đến những người khác, tạo ra một tiềm năng phát triển theo hàm mũ sự lan truyền và ảnh hưởng của một thông điệp như những con virus. Cứ như thế, các chiến dịch quảng cáo theo viral marketing đã được nhân rộng nhanh chóng để làm bùng nổ một thông điệp đến hàng ngàn, hàng triệu lần.
Viral Marketing là một hình thức Marketing áp dụng trên một cộng đồng xã hội đang hiện hữu nhằm mục đích tạo nhận biết cho khách hàng hoặc đạt được một mục tiêu trong kinh doanh nào đó. Biện pháp Marketing này có thể là lời truyền miệng hoặc được trợ giúp của mạng Internet. Các nhà nghiên cứu nhận thấy trung bình mỗi người có hơn 10 mối quan hệ mật thiết, khoảng 150 mối quan hệ xã hội và 500-1.500 các quan hệ lỏng lẻo khác. Vì vậy, các nhà kinh tế đánh giá viral marketing như một giải pháp mới cho ngành tiếp thị trước sự phổ biến của YouTube và trào lưu chia sẻ video trực tuyến cũng như Facebook và Pinterest, Twitter …
Với phương pháp này nhà tiếp thị sẽ tạo được một hiện tượng trong xã hội bằng cách khuyến khích các đối tượng truyền tải thông điệp một cách "tự nguyện". Thông điệp chuyển tải có thể là một Video clip, câu chuyện vui, Flash game, ebook, software, hình ảnh hay đơn giản là một đoạn text. Cho đến nay thì chưa có ai tổng kết có bao nhiêu loại hình Viral Marketing.
Ví dụ: CocaCola áp dụng thành công chiến dịch quảng cáo bằng cách in tên trên lon thật và ảo. Chiến dịch này hết sức thành công khi người tiêu dùng lùng sục khắc các siêu thị, cửa hàng tiện lợi, tạp hoá, đại lí… để tìm mua được tên của họ in trên lon coca thật. Coca dường như lường trước được việc không thể in hết các tên lên các sản phẩm thật, công ty liền có phần mềm cho phép những người tham gia vào chiến dịch tự tạo những mô hình chai Coke của riêng mình với tên, hình ảnh bạn bè mình trên đó, rồi chia sẻ trên Facebook. Sau đó, hàng ngàn chia sẻ với những cái tên mới xuất hiện. Đương nhiên sau đó doanh thu cũng tăng lên đáng kể.

2. Mobile marketing:
Mobile marketing chính là việc sử dụng các kênh di động phục vụ hoạt động marketing. Đi cùng với tốc độ phát triển nhanh của Internet, mobile marketing thực sự trở thành một công cụ mạnh mẽ để dành được sự chú ý và quan tâm từ khách hàng. Các công cụ của tiếp thị di động bao gồm: SMS, Location-based Service, App – Game…

* SMS (Short Message Services) đây là hình thức đơn giản và phổ biến nhất. Các công ty có thể sử dụng SMS để gửi cho khách hàng thông tin về các sản phẩm mới, chương trình khuyến mãi hay lời chúc mừng sinh nhật,… SMS phát huy tác dụng của nó trong môi trường mà điện thoại chỉ có những chức năng cơ bản, nó đảm bảo thông điệp có thể đến với người dùng dù họ sử dụng loại điện thoại nào đi nữa. Tuy nhiên, nó cũng có nhiều hạn chế, hình ảnh thông điệp không được sinh động, và nếu thông điệp quảng cáo không liên quan đến nhu cầu của người dùng sẽ khiến họ dễ dàng bực bội. * Location-based Service có thể hiểu là một hệ thống giúp bạn nhận biết đang có những dịch vụ gì ví dụ nhà hàng, quán cafè, rạp chiếu phim, thư viện, nhà hát, nhà sách… dựa trên vị trí hiện tại của họ. Thông qua LBS người dùng còn biết bao nhiêu bạn bè đang ở gần để có thể mời họ cùng tham gia. Dịch vụ điển hình “Google Mobile Ads” mới đây do Google cung cấp mang lại ứng dụng được gọi là “click to call” rất hữu ích và tiện dụng. Tiện ích này hiển thị cho người sử dụng tên dịch vụ, số điện thoại, địa chỉ… Ví dụ, bạn tìm nhà hàng A, “Google Mobile Ads” sẽ cho bạn biết nhà hàng nằm trên đường B, số điện thoại là C***. Bên cạnh đó, chỉ cần click thẳng vào những thông tin để gọi hoặc kết nối trực tiếp với ứng dụng Google Map tìm ra con đường nhanh nhất đến nhà hàng của bạn, đây một hình thức cực kì nhanh chóng và tiện lợi. * Mobile game – Mobile Application là hình thức quảng cáo dựa trên các mạng quảng cáo di động, cho phép các nhà phát triển phần mềm hay công ty quảng cáo có thể quảng cáo sản phẩm của mình trực tiếp trên trò chơi hay ứng dụng của các sản phẩm với các hệ điều hành khác nhau. Tiên phong trong lĩnh vực này là mạng quảng cáo di động iAd của Apple, ra đời tháng 7/2010. Mạng quảng cáo giúp công ty quảng cáo có thể quảng cáo sản phẩm của mình trực tiếp trên ứng dụng của các sản phẩm của mình như iPhone, iPod, iPad, hệ điều hành iOs.
