...NT1310 Unit 1 Assignment 1. Voice vs Data Cell phones uses voice data networks because talk through one end is sent to the other end of the call. Landline phones uses the same as cell phones SMS/Text messaging uses data networks because it takes and saves an image of text and sends it over to the other end. Fax Machine uses data networks because a file is saved and sent over to the fax machine to be printed out. Pagers uses data networks because it is recorded and saved while being transfer over to the pager. VOIP (voice over IP) phones uses voice data networks. Skype/Facetime uses voice data networks because of live video streaming. Unit 1 Exercise 1, Local Exchange Any movements and sounds on one end is recorded and sent as data through demarc live-tie, to the access networks. Then from access network it would go through metro network (city to city) and regional networks (county to county). From there it travels to long haul (state to state). Then to ocean networks (country to country) if players are out of the country gamers. After all that transfers, it back tracks to the other end of the receiver who is playing the game. Unit 1 Lab 1. Data on Fixed Line vs Cellular Debate Data Speed depends on the environment. One can be faster than the other Network Security both are hackable, but cellular is more of a spoof because it’s a single out in the air to public to pick up while fixed line has firewalls and fiber optics it travels through. Equipment Cost depending...

...the reciprocal interaction of teaching performance and self-efficacy beliefs. A single case study design was employed to address and began to bridge the gap in our understanding of the relationship between feedback, self-efficacy belief and teaching performance. The data for this study were collected in the form of semi-structured interviews from 6 volunteer 5th-grade chemistry student teachers. The data was analyzed based on an inductive analytical approach. The results indicated that different types of feedback based on self-efficacy belief sources directly affected the student teachers' self-efficacy beliefs and teaching performance. It may be concluded that different types of feedback provided key paths for student teachers to better understand their own developing teaching performance and that of other teachers. I agree with Akkuzu’s with the role of different types of feedback in the reciprocal interaction of teaching performance and self-efficacy belief. Because, due to the data that was analyzed based on an inductive analytical approach. Someone or scientist cannot just think and jump into conclusion without carryout his/her experiment to see what the result is. Therefore, I agree with Akkuzu and the data analyses. ...Improving user authentication on mobile devices: A Touchscreen Graphical Password Summary By: Quaniesha Hillian December 12, 2013 Abstract We analyze three biometric verification modalities – voice, face and motion – and in addition secret word passage, on a portable gadget, to investigate the relative requests on client time, exertion, blunder and errand interruption. Our research center study furnished perceptions of client movements, techniques, and responses to the validation strategies. Face and voice biometrics conditions were speedier than watchword passage. Talking a Pin was the speediest for biometric specimen entrance, yet fleeting memory review was better in the face check condition. None of the confirmation conditions were recognized exceptionally usable. In conditions that consolidated two biometric entrance routines, the opportunity to get the biometric examples was shorter than if obtained independently yet they were extremely disliked and had high memory assignment blunder rates. These quantitative effects exhibit cognitive and engine contrasts between biometric verification modalities, and brief strategy choices in selecting confirmation. Typing text passwords is challenging when using touchscreens on mobile devices and this is becoming more problematic as mobile usage increases. They designed a new graphical password scheme called Touchscreen Multi-layered Drawing specifically for use with touchscreens. They conducted an exploratory...

...Coke or Pepsi, what would you choose? xxxxxx XACC/280 xxxxxx teacher name Everyone in the civilized world recognizes two companies as kings of the soda pop, Pepsi-Cola and Coca-Cola. These two companies have battled for over one hundred years to be top dog in the beverage business. In 2005, Coca-Cola (Coke) led the race by just over 7% in net income over Pepsi-Co (Pepsi). This essay will compare these two beverage giants side by side and analyze the financial statements of both as well as making suggestions about ways the each company may be able to improve their earnings. Pepsi-Cola was born in North Carolina, in 1898, as the invention of a pharmacist named Caleb Bradham. He put together various combinations of juices, syrups, and spices to try to come up with a new drink to serve to his customers at the soda fountain in his pharmacy. His drink, originally called “Brad’s drink” was soon renamed Pepsi-Cola (using a combination of the names of two of the ingredients Pepsin and Kola nuts). The drink was incredibly successful and soon took off beyond Bradham’s wildest expectations. In 1902, the Pepsi-Cola company was officially formed and the brand was patented. The beverage quickly moved from a soda fountain product to a bottled beverage (PepsiCo, Inc, 2010). The second half of this duo is Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola was invented in 1886, twelve years before Pepsi. It was created by Doctor John Pemberton, also a pharmacist...

...Courtney Grimes Professor Engle October 9, 2012 Kaplan University Unit 3 Assignment Customer Satisfaction is basically how well you are meeting the needs of the customers and Customer Loyalty is basically you making the customer feel like it is part of making the decisions and in return it can show the customer that your respect them enough to allow them to be included and gives them a glimpse into the business to see how much you care about it (Christensen, 2006). So, from what I gather about the two that are different from one another but both have to do with keeping customers. With Customer Satisfaction with a website you want to create one that is based on what the needs of the customers are and with Customer Loyalty you want to make sure you keep in mind to include the customers input so they feel like they are part of the process and let your work reflect how much you care about the company. According to the textbook customer satisfaction and customer loyalty are becoming reason to get a CRM system up and running (Gibson, 2012, Pg.61). Customer Service and Customer Loyalty are different, customer service is what the organization provides and customer loyalty is the result of the service. The customer service of the website would be the CSR’s and the things you put out there such as giveaways or samples this is what you are putting out there for the customer and in return the result is the customer loyalty how well they react to what the website has to offer.
