Every state has a state senator, and a state representative that is nominated by their community. Individuals that are qualified to do the job they are held to a standard to have the community voices heard and to make the community bettery, this paper will include the state senate, and their representative, their history in office, the bills they introduce, and supported. Also how I view them as a social work, and how I will like for them to get involved.

Van Wanggaard is a community activist. He was responsible for structure security for Harborfest in 1986. Van Wanggaard was a part of a veterans association, where he was a police officer for Racine Police Department the past 29 years. On February 7, 2017, Mason reintroduced the “Higher Ed, Lower Debt Bill” to help provide relief for student loan borrowers. Mason is someone who is industrious and affable: Mason speaks with a sense of wanting better for the younger generation overall. Mason wants to see his community strive while having the same opportunity. I would like for Cory Mason to get more involved with our younger generation since he is an advocate for school and funding. I’ve noticed much of the younger generation do not have the encouragement of wanting to stay in school. Once Mason can propose a bill that will solidify to our youngest generation the importance of education is valuable while getting the community involved can make a whole difference. I do believe if we do not attempt to try to grasp their attention the dropout rate for the grades between eighth through twelfth will significantly
