From the beginning with Edison’s Kinetoscope audiences have been amazed with the technology of film making. In the beginning it was very short and common everyday scenes that audiences watched, this has grown in the last 100 years into an industry that can duplicate any scenario and put the viewer in the front seat of any number of experiences right from the comfort of their home. The industry has shaped our values as Americans in many different ways.
