1.1 Describe the features of different types of meetings
At Berkley St James we have informal and formal meetings and these take place on a regular basis. Team meetings happen each Friday at 9am and we discuss the targets, the changes that have/are happened/happening. We will also discuss the wills that we have done and the meeting/events that have been booked. The staff meetings that we have allow staff to be kept up to date with any issues or changes and they are held by the office manager.
1.2 Outline the different ways of providing administrative support for meetings

3.4. Explain the importance of obtaining correct information when making diary entries
Diary entries must always be kept up to date and have the correct information, this helps when dealing with appointments and meetings so that people are given the correct information to ensure that people turn up to the correct place at the correct time and are meeting with the correct people. It also helps if the appointment cannot be made so that the client or colleague can be made aware. This will also help to highlight any conflicting appointments and allow you to prioritise and rearrange.
Notifications and reminders must be up to date with the correct information so that you are able to manage the length of time a diary entry is needed to ensure that you keep to any deadlines for work commitments.

Different types of equipment within an office environment are computers, telephones, fax machines, photocopiers, etc, There uses are keeping customers records upto date on computers, dealing with customers via telephone, photocopying any information that needs to be retained or faxing any urgent
