Tommy Ingberg and Joel Robison’s work uses the same idea of conceptuality and surrealism but presented it in different ways and with contrasting meanings. Where Ingberg’s idea was to create self-reflecting photos of emotions he has felt, Robison’s idea is to create a positive outlook on the world around us.
Ingberg uses the influence of Rene Magritte as the centre point of all of his pieces; he uses the repetition of the man in the bowler hat to help him create self-reflecting photos to try and show how he is feeling. The darker colours create a gloomier atmosphere and could show a hidden sadness in Ingberg that he is trying to reflect in creating his photos in this way.
On the other hand, in Robison’s work his photos are built around more
