On this reading of Amie L. Thomasson in Ontological Innovation in Art she speaks about different perspectives and ideas of many people in society. Her perspective of "Art" itself is seen in many different ways, better yet she also questions it. For example she asks What sort of thing is a work of Art? and When does a work of art come into existence?. These are all questions regarding the ontology of the work of art, how it works. Amie believes that the work of Art is fundamentally fixed by it's existence, identity, and persistence conditions.
