According to Dictionary.com, nigger means, “a victim of prejudice similar to that suffered by black people; a person who is economically, politically, or socially disenfranchised.” Initially, the word was created to decipher the difference between Caucasians and so-called niggers. In other languages, the word nigger loses its negative connotation. This word was used as a means to brand so-called African Americans, oppress us, and cause self degradation. Nigger was a precedent to Jim Crow, segregation, and injustice, so a translation of this abhorrent confab will not serve to translate the hate associated.
