In “GRIT is better than IQ” Angela Duckworth mentions “To me, the most shocking thing about grit is how little we know, how little science knows, about building it” (04:08). Duckworth then comments on how we can build or even teach GRIT. She remarks that there is already a plan set up in order to teach GRIT through “growth mindset” developed by standard university Carol Dweck. Dweck believes that “it is not the ability to learn is not fixed, but the effort in it”. GRIT is having the mentality to not only do better, but doing your best.
