1) Assisted Squats
Great for beginners just learning how to squat and build strength and balance.
Can use trx straps, a railing, chair, etc.
2) Body Weight Squats
Next progression after assisted squats are body weight squats. Feet will be around shoulder width apart. When you drop down your arms may go out in front of you parallel to the ground.
