From a young age Augie was introduced to the inner workings of a business by his parents. Through those experts he became interested in business as a place to work. As of 2010 there were 27.9 million small businesses, and 18,500 firms with 500 employees or more. As for Augie all he sees is all the possibilities of places that he could work. To get to that point is far away from where he is now. But there is more to Augie then businesses. Augie has his hobbies, his job, and where he sees himself in about ten years. For Augie, the thrill of playing basketball and hanging out with friends are his favorite hobbies. Augie’s interest in basketball stems from his brother and father introducing him to the game when he was about four years old. His interest in the game goes much further to wanting to knowing the individually roles of each player. The game of basketball is not just a game that Augie likes to watch on TV, but a game that he also like to play with friends. Augie also goes to the mall, talks and watches TV with his friends. When the school week comes to a close, Augie occasionally hangs out with his friends. He also come up with a plan to make the week goes by faster. But as of now he does not have one. The key factor in this decision of his is that he doesn’t want to go through training in the middle of the school year. The summer, though it’s a different story, Augie plans to work at Rogan’s shoes. The choice was a rather clear one to him for a variety of reasons. The first and most critical is that it is the same distance from both of his fathers and mothers houses. Also, Augie likes their selection of basketball shoes. Furthermore, Augie like the designs on their shoes and wants to see more of them. While Augie wants to be a Rogan’s for now he does not want to stay there
