...The second week at the Mayfield Village store I spent my time in the Kitchen. I learned and competed the tasks the employees in the kitchen have to do from prep, to sandwich making, and to setting up the gourmet case. Teamwork was very evident this week internally in the kitchen and externally with other departments. Employees in the kitchen are willing to help each other out in order to get all the completed tasks completed for the day. Teamwork is key with other departments when the kitchen has to menu plan for the week and the orders from other departments for the kitchen. Also, I learned the how to do the menu planning. A key part that goes into the menu planning are the conversations that the kitchen has to have with the other departments...

There were piles of clothes and numerous pairs of shoes behind the couch on the north end of the living room as well. There were also two trash bags with cords, gaming equipment, and other miscellaneous items behind the couch on the north end. I then assisted Detective Busalacchi in photographing the rest of the house. The living room led to the hallway with a bedroom directly across from the living room entrance to the hallway. This bedroom contained a mattress and clothing belonging to a construction worker. This bedroom was also photographed and booked for evidence. The hallway led out into the kitchen, which opened to a stairwell leading upstairs to two bedrooms. These rooms were not searched but photographed from the stairwell and the photographs uploaded to the Daly City Police multimedia server as evidence. ...doing the dishes can be done unto the Lord. After all, there’s no better way to joyfully serve than with a heart of WORSHIP! If that verse encourages you to joyfully serve, then why stop at the kitchen sink? Wouldn’t it be uplifting to post scripture around the house as a reminder that we are serving the Lord with a heart of Worship? I think it would! So I dug out a few of my favorite scriptures that I thought might be a good fit around the house. Here they are: The Family Room: Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. ~Psalm 34:3 The Laundry Room: From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised. ~Psalm 113:3 Bedroom Door: Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. ~Psalm 127:1 Bedroom Door:...

...My ideal house My ideal house would cost a great many thousands of dollars and therefore, even if I am very successful in life, I do not suppose that I shall possess it for a very long time. However there is no harm in dreaming, especially if the dream provides the driving force to turn fantasy into fact. As I live in Singapore, i would like my ideal house to be situated either on one of the residential estates, right outside the bustle of the city center, or on one of the coast roads so that the cool breezes from the ever beautiful China sea could waft through my windows. Wherever my house was, it would stand in it sown grounds so that I would not, on any side, be over-looked by neighbors. The gardens, with which it would be surrounded would be very beautiful, full of colorful tropical flowers; orchids and canna lilies and with many glowing flowering shrubs such as bougainvillaea and frangipani. There would be tall leafy trees for shade and underneath them, my private swimming bath would be built, where we could relax and swim in the heat of the day. there would be pleasant paths winding through the green grass and comfortable seats where my family and I could rest, when the day's toil was over. The house itself would be built of white stone which is both cool and weather-proof. It would be on two storeys, because I like the habit of sleeping upstairs. It would embody features from both the Eastern and Western worlds. In front of it, I would have a large path with...

As we know, everyone want a comfortable place for them to relax and engrossed in their own work at home, therefore, well allocation of personal private space in every single house is necessary. In this house, we have got three bedrooms and all located in the second floor, hence, the private areas of my home are grouped together. Clean and quiet environments are the first element that normally required for a domestic space. My bedroom is quiet and clean and that fit my basic requirement. F.2. Day view of my bedroom on the second floor. We all in this house will not make noises to disturb each other so basically we will not be incommoded, especially in bed time. As my bedroom is located in the second floor, it is much more quiet than some rooms which are next to kitchen or garage. Also it is convenient to me that I do not need to share my bedroom with other people as I can do anything without other person’s permission. In my room, I always feel free, leisure and secure that I can do whatever I want to do in most of the time....

...it. In fact, I got my room so bad that it was three feet high with junk everywhere in my room. I never really seemed to care, though. Currently I'm feeling ashamed that I let myself live like this. Living in this clustered mess I call a bedroom. I believe that, after I fix it and become organized, I'll be much better off. I'll be able to tile my room, too! I had my carpet pulled up from the ground a while ago, so I've been living on concrete for some time, now. The rewards I can see are actually being able to use my chair properly. A chair with wheels that is free to roll around the floor without being stopped by every single detail of junk laying about. I actually have seen someone else with this issue, but they managed to fix it up. The only problem is, their parents threw away everything in the bedroom and they started over with new-everything. I think they've kept on keeping it clean, though. I haven't seen, or heard from, them in a few years. I also don't believe that I'd miss this behavior. I've been trying to clean for a while, but I always pushed it onto someone else. Never letting myself take responsibility for my own actions. So, I truly wish to change this behavior. Now, especially, when I have an actual trashcan sitting in my bedroom. This is also most definitely a true statement. Being organized is extremely beneficial for...

...As I twisted the rusty knob of the house a spider crawled out of the key hole. I was already disgusted by the new house even though it was big and pretty, it was old and need a ton of work. It was a big white house with bright green ivy growing up the side of it and across the front. When I stepped in, there were marble walls with spiralling staircases leading to the second floor. Of course, my parents let me pick the room I wanted, I picked the second biggest room with my own bathroom. After I had made my room decision the movers moved all my stuff into my room and I went to go explore the rest of the house. I went into the back yard where there was a beautiful pergola set up leading down to the pond. As I was walking through, I could imagine putting lights on it and have a gorgeous lighted path going all the way down to pond. When I was walking back from the pond, I noticed the guest house and a what looked like to be an old farm house. I wanted to go see it but it, looked old and off limits so instead I went inside for dinner. I didn’t ask my parents about it because I could tell they were already tired and overwhelmed with everything so I didn’t want to bug them. When I went to sleep that I night all I could think about was what was in that guest house. I couldn’t even focus on the book I needed to read for school. As I tried to continue reading the book, I started to realize the house in the book started to sound more and more like the house I just moved into. Then I remembered...

...grapevine). There were 3 entrances to the house, to the left was Monet’s apartment and studio, the main entrance was in the middle, and the kitchen on the right. A sitting room where Mrs. Monet would sit with the children were all adorning in blue. Monet collected many pieces of Japanese woodblocks to decorate several rooms in the house. From the pantry to the upper floor is Monet’s apartment with three large windows with views to his beautiful gardens. Monet’s first studio, which later became his smoking room, is where we would entertain his guest, art dealers, critics, and collectors. He kept many records of his works through his career in his studio. It wasn’t until the age of 50 that he was finally recognized as a master. Alice’s bedroom is separate from his, that is the way the middle-upper class households were then. But their rooms were connected through the bathroom (hmmm, they weren’t stupid). Her room also had Japanese woodblocks on the walls. Wow! The dining room looks contemporary to today’s style. Two tones of yellow, blue dishes on display to enhance (once again) Japanese woodblocks on the walls that Monet collected from the best Japanese artist during his time. A cool blue dining area flows and harmonizes with the kitchen; with a collection of copper utensil on the walls and a large wood/coal-burning stove that kept the kitchen warm all...

...to look forward to. I can only imagine all the joy and excitement as well as the stress and uncertainty that buying a house forces onto someone. The whole experience revealed a greater appreciation of the knowledge I obtained by taking this course. When selecting a house to visit, I kept my choices to properties that were priced realistically to what I feel will be affordable in my future. The property I chose is located in the City of San Gabriel California. A single family home consisting of 1728 square feet, three bedrooms, and two and a half baths, single car garage with an extra room connected to it. Upon entering the front door you quickly realize that the front room is rather small. It does have a fireplace, which seems to limit the front room space even more as it only limits the placement of furniture. The bedrooms were of a decent size with new windows in all rooms. The master bedroom was slightly larger then the other two bedrooms with a sliding door that leads to the back yard. The master bathroom was really small and outdated. The other bathrooms were also outdated. There is a family room but that too was really small. The kitchen was extremely small with little cabinet space, little counter space. There was a small area for dinning which was adjacent to the kitchen and connected to the living room. The layout of the entire house seemed to be dysfunctional. It seems as if there was some remodeling done, but it really cut down the openness of the...
