An added benefit of increasing their employee´s pay is that it allows them to ask more of them. Well-paid employees have an incentive to work harder and commit themselves to their job, while employees who are making relatively little salary won't usually have the same level of loyality to a company.
Offer competitive benefits. Increasingly, people looking for work don't just consider the salary offer by a potential employer, but also the benefits provided. By offering affordable benefits like health insurance, dental insurance they can make a job at your company better then one at a competitor's therefore it decrease employee turnover. Reviewing their benefits package is something their company should do regularly at least once a year.
Encourage friendly employee relationships The employees and bosses can function like something of a family, providing friendly relationships, conversation, and sometimes even emotional intimacy. Instead of just using employees for labour they should try to foster a warm, open environment at work. Employees should be comfortable talking, joking, and making outside-of-work plans with each other as long as it doesn't interfere with their work.
Conduct exit interviews. They should take the opportunity to conduct an exit interview with the employee who is leaving the company before he/she is gone for good. Some business experts have found that employees are more willing to be honest at exit interviews, but others have found that many employees will be less critical in hopes of getting a good recommendation.
