The main theme in the movie was based on the dangers of censorship. I think that the movie is honest in a very crude way. I think that the film is extremely honest because the film invades your mind with ideas and opinions that are not normally spoken about in society. The film leaves open the opinion that parents are not taking the responsibility for the actions of their children and trying to find blame in things such as the media. This was shown in the musical number Blame Canada, “We must blame them and cause a fuss/ before somebody thinks of blaming us” (Shaiman, Parker).
